Your pictures are beautiful once again! Love them all. My husband has forbidden anymore wallpaper! I can't wait to see what you choose for your room. I am currently trying to decide what color to paint my room and my kitchen cupboards. I am SO afraid of color on walls--but I do find that soft, creamy light colors are easier for me to live with. I do have a paneled room that reminds me of your library that I like.Stickhorsecowgirlshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04167094045033324094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8884914321755768425.post-78307554270203209692009-03-30T18:24:00.000-04:002009-03-30T18:24:00.000-04:00There is wallpaper that can be stripped without to...There is wallpaper that can be stripped without too much trouble. Go to your hardware store/lowes/home depot and get a gadget called a "paper tiger." It will be with the wallpaper supplies. It is a funky little gadget with teeth that you roll around on the old wallpaper like you are moving a computer mouse. The teeth will scuff the old paper (without all that dust) enough to dampen it to scrap it off. It is so easy that you can "spare" your husband (if you want to) and do it yourself. I have used this several time with great success.

CyndiCyndi Dealhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14939926726119520496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8884914321755768425.post-37083588041616626682009-03-30T10:08:00.000-04:002009-03-30T10:08:00.000-04:00Any home improvement seems to make major messes in...Any home improvement seems to make major messes inside, but when it's all done it's worth it. Choosing it gives me fits. But I know your final choice will be perfect.

Hooray for painters who will remove the wallpaper, as some won't do it, and as you know it is a hideous task. Once I started noticing them out of my kitchen window almost every sunny morning I started to see them all over. I googled them, out of curiosity, and found some pretty strange assumptions being put out there about them but no real explanations.

We are about ready to do some painting. I dread all the dust from the sanding too. Good luck with your project, I look forward to seeing pictures.
