What's that called? Fortunately, a few of the things that just come up around my house are honeysuckle, huge purple irises, an enormous old rambling rose, and climbing vines of every description. I love gardens like those pictured above, though- with an abundance of private corners for reading and Jane Austenesque romantic revelations.Rebekahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03946043005796746807noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8884914321755768425.post-55796684976499830802009-06-03T20:31:41.894-04:002009-06-03T20:31:41.894-04:00i love a cottage style garden with secret little h...i love a cottage style garden with secret little hidden places to discover...but a formal garden can be stunning. as long as it is well cared for i think love is the secret ingredient to a wonderful place.marmeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00622899170079254810noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8884914321755768425.post-27401521362954367582009-06-03T19:40:22.820-04:002009-06-03T19:40:22.820-04:00Mary, your garden style is my garden dream. I don't prefer this but HH requested I try to keep everything easier for him to mow around. If I were able now, since someone else mows for us, I would have numerous garden rooms all about. I wish I could accompish it without it looking like a bunch of weeds lol. One thing I love about my new (but tiny) backyard is how the fence hedge creates like a wall and makes it very secluded. In fact my post today is about that.
