This is definitely a little red house, and it is filled with lots of red -- in the wallpaper, in the dishes, in the prints on the walls. But I'm feelin' blue lately, so I've been searching hard to find some lovely blue things to show you. Here they are -- enjoy!
Hi Mary, I hope you are only kidding about feeling blue:>) I am drooling over the dishes, especially the place setting with the blue and the little roses! I love it.
ReplyDeleteLove the blue. I'm a big blue and white girl too, but have started to collect Red and white. Hope you are not really" blue". Spring is on it's way!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the lovely dishes. Hope you have a bright, sunny day. Janie
Mornin' Mary
ReplyDeleteI love blue and white on plates...my favorite combination, then it is red and white...when my kids ask my favorite color I always say white because it goes with everything adn then I am told technically it is not a color (smarties!!)...but I love the cleanliness of it!
Enjoy your day-it's sunny!!

When I signed in I thought you were feeling bad. If blur means these beauties I'll take a blue day.
ReplyDeleteLovely blue and I enjoy how you keep playing with your decorating. I have a feeling that it never gets dull even if it gets blue. Don't worry, Mary, every day brings spring closer!
ReplyDeleteHi Mary!
ReplyDeleteI think the blue is lovely! That is the way I am feeling lately too! (check out my blog.. it is very blue!) Lovely lovely!
Hugs,
Abbie
Hope your feeling less blue today...
ReplyDeleteI love the way you arranged everything...so pretty!
Hello. Just found your site today. The blue & white dishes remind me of my grandmother and my mom (and that's a good thing). They both were/are collectors. Looking at your photos provided a comfort of home. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteMary,
ReplyDeleteThe blue dishes are beautiful! I also love the blue jay having a bad hair day! We have a blue jay that is trying to eat our deck railing. There is a soft spot in the wood that he is pecking at ....and there is birdseed but a few feet away.

I love blue and white (as you may have noticed...?) and your china is lovely. But surely it is not making you feel blue...? The more the merrier, is my motto when it comes to blue and white.
ReplyDeleteOh Mary, beautiful! Love your dishes.
ReplyDeleteTry not to be so blue, spring is on it's way!
Hugs,
Donna
I love your blue and white...esp the platter that sits next to the milk glass! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Robin
I have mostly green and burgandy and gold in my home but I have gone through many blue phases, it's a nice change. These pieces are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHi! Your dishes match your shirt , teehee
ReplyDeleteJeannie
Your blue and white is fantastic - I especially like the pitcher. Hope the sun comes out soon!
ReplyDeleteHeather
What pretty 'blues'
ReplyDeleteAlison
I think it's the weather, the lack of sun and vitamin D, and the month. Plus, it's ok to feel blue every now and then. Hope you're feeling in the pink soon!
ReplyDeleteLovely blog...with many lovelies to look at! Your "blues" help chase ours away. I have the very same blue nordic ironstone platter, along with place settings that were my Grandmothers. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThink spring,
Karrie
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteI love picking a color theme and going with it. Right now my color theme is green.
ReplyDeleteI've been playing up the blue and whites in our dining room too. Something fresh!
ReplyDeleteI have plates that match the platter in your third photo, thrifted of course.
Oh ya, I know how ya feel, I'm feeling a little blue today too darlin'. Beautiful tableware!

I love blue and white china. These are so lovely Karen
ReplyDeleteOh, your blog is so lovely, I'm envious! Especially your photos...I have a slight phobia taking photos, which I must get over.
ReplyDeleteMy very new blog so far has concentrated mostly on being a marketing tool as I am a fabric artisan, but more stories are about to come, so take a peek sometime. http://afteralldesigns.blogspot.com

I love it all...and the little things I have ready to mail to you ARE blue!! I just thought of you when I found them : )
ReplyDeleteThey really are boxed up but, with the awful weather we are having, I have not been to the PO. I am ashamed to take this long...but they will be on their way to you soon.
Love all the pretties...
