Good Morning Mary! I LOVE Nutella!! Try using it in place of peanut butter in 'peanut butter' cookies.. so they'd be Nutella cookies.. OMG! Dee-lish!!! Have a fabulous weekend! :) Abbie
Hi Mary! I'm going to try Nutella, I love chocolate flavor ANYTHING! Thanks for visiting my new blog and for your comment. I'm so excited about this new world of blogging with such great people! Love your site! Sherry
Can you believe I've never tasted Nutella? I think maybe the Lord of the Manor tried it in the UK. Or something like it. On your recommendation, I'll try to track it down. Hugs, Laura
Ouuu Mary my daughter just bought a jar home for me to try and I told her she had better hide it or I will be putting it on everything! Oh its so yummy!
I bought some the other day, but have not tried it yet. I always see it on Everyday Italian with Giada on the Food Network. Can't wait to try it! Penny
Hi, Mary, I had to go back & catch up on your posts & look at your pretty pics. Love that little egg pic you got from Donna. She is very talented & a sweet lady! Love those doggies too.
Can you believe, I've never had Nutella. I've heard of it, but never tried it. So, I'm missing out, huh??!
On the Food Network site, type in Giada De Lau. (don't know how to spell her name), anyway, she does Everyday Itailian. She has a recipe for "Chocolate Hazelnut Smooches". They are like the peanut blossom cookies I have always made, but use substitute Nutella for the peanut butter and add a Hershey Kiss at the end of baking time. Check it out---that was my favorite cookie to take, give, and exchange this year for Christmas.
I bought my very first jar of this today!! It is great...as a matter of fact I do believe I hear a Nutella/banana sandwich callin' my name for suppah! *wink*
1. Spread Nutella thickly onto two graham crackers. 2.Toast a marshmallow or two over a fire or in a toaster oven. 3. Squish melted marshmallow between crackers. 4. Eat. 5. Repeat as necessary!
I LOVE Nutella, but haven't had any for a while - I think since our last trip to Ireland in fact. I've had luck finding it at a store that imports Italian food around here.
I don't have any in the house and now I want some in the worst way! I'm trying to watch what I eat lately and now everything I see I want. Last night it was Reeses peanut butter easter eggs...come to think of it, I still have some more and that might just solve my nutella craving for the moment. Good dessert following my light and healthy tuna sandwich...
Hi Mary oh, I did not know that there is "the good Nutella" in the absolutely same Design, as here in Germany: -) I hope much that she tastes just as wonderful, like here, because I love this chocolate on breakfast bread, and my figure also...*lol* Take care Barbara
I have eaten this for years... love love love it. When I came over to America for a holiday, I had to go searching for it, but when I did, it mady me h-a-p-p-y *grin*
The stuff is addictive, isn't it? ;o) At my blog I have a recipe in the recipe section for a pasty using Nutella as filling...heaven! Have a sweet weeekend ((HUGS))
I was born and raised in Germany and German kids eat Nutella sandwiches like american kids eat peanut butter sandwiches. It's one of the few things that is readily available here that reminds me of 'home'. Nutella is delicious on crepes too. Spread it on one, roll it up and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. It's to die for...:)
I am originally from England and we are into Nutella on hot buttery toast...yummy! Uh-oh now I am craving and that's not good when you're on Weightwatchers! LOL
I just wanted to tell you I bought my first jar of Nutella today...hubby and I are both anxious to try it on biscuits in the morning. He had never heard of it, either. Where have we been???:) Sleep tight....bj

ReplyDeleteThis is my most favorite treat!!! I get the big jars at either World Market or Trader Joe's!
Nutella on graham crackers (the cinnamon ones, of course)and a big glass of milk! My favorite midnight snack!
It's also great on fruit - apples, pears, you get the picture!
You are a woman after my own heart!
Enjoy!
