Late spring is the time when outside and inside meet for me, right here where I sit and read. We have this giant rhododendron growing right outside the library window, and I love to take a few minutes in the morning to sit and bask in the morning sun, and enjoy the blooms --
through the window,
and on the needlepoint and fabric pillows.
Don't you just love spring?
Yes, I definitely do adore spring. And, it looks even better when you share your spring with us.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures and feelings for your subject are always inviting.

What a wonderful spot to relax, Mary. It looks so completely charming and cozy. Too bad the rhododenron couldn't bloom all summer long!
ReplyDeleteOh how I would love to sit in your library and enjoy your Rhodie and a good visit with you! ~Adrienne~
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous post Mary. I once had a window in our home in Ontario that looked out into the garden making the entire room come inside. It is such a blessing. Your beautiful window into your garden makes the room look even more inviting. Karen
ReplyDeleteYes, I do love spring. The new house that we just moved into has a rhododendron in the front yard and it is blooming the same beautiful shade of lavender as yours. Mine, however, is still pretty small and only has about 7 buds on it. I can't believe how big they can get. I think I'm going to have to do some transplanting of the other bushes in that area!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the beautiful pictures (and the heads up that they can get large)
Hi Mary,
ReplyDeleteLove the new title block; I have a bench just like that out back. And your rhodedendron is GORGEOUS!
I'm glad everything went well with the new girlfriend. We all stress like that now and then, and sometimes I think it's actually productive. Just glad it all went well.
Hugs, Laura
I love spring but my allergies hates it. Beautiful bush and flowers.

ReplyDeleteHave an inspiring day!!
Just love it, Mary! That view of your couch, pillows and rhodo is what I call achieving Harmony.
