I received an email yesterday from a reader who is requesting cheers and prayers for her daughter's friend, who is facing cancer. Here is a link to her blog post, which tells the story of a very courageous young lady. I know her story touched my heart, and I am sure that it will touch yours, too. Please take a minute to read the story. I know you will want to help.
Thank you for telling us about this remarkable young lady! I certainly wish her the best and will be praying for her. I did read her story and am amazed at the mature Christian she already is! Please keep us posted about her!
ReplyDeleteOh Mary. I just visited the blog, and when I read that she has Ewing's Sarcoma, I felt my heart sink. That is a very difficult cancer.
ReplyDeleteI will keep them in my prayers. They are going to need all of the prayers they receive.
Yes, this young lady is in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteIn my prayers, too!
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you on my blog!
That flower looks so nice and has such a nice colour, I will come again soon!
I will go right over and meet this young lady.
ReplyDeleteI keep a blanket prayer line for all our blogger friends going all the time. So, so many in dire need of all the prayers they can get.
You were so nice to let us know about this little lady.
Thank you, bj
It's not often we have the opportunity to reach out to someone we don't know and help lift them a little by including them in prayer and sending a little note. I appreciate the opportunity you've given us, Mary. She sounds like a remarkable young lady -- no doubt her influence will touch many lives.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how such circumstances in life can put everything in perspective.
Thanks for sharing.
Oh Mary, what a wonderful post. I have been away, and am so glad I stopped by to catch up. Sending many prayers to Caty.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary,
ReplyDeleteI just became a commenter but I'm not sure how to set up my own blog. I just turned 50 and I found your blog thru Rate My Space. Love your photos and decor.
You have a true artists eye.
I will pray for healing for Caty and grace for her parents!
