Ohhhhh...this is something we only see on the far distant mountains. If we want to get close to it we have to travel for miles in HEAVY traffic on roads that wind high into the mountains and of course carry chains with us in case. I have pictures of snow all over the house and do I dream of a white Christmas? You bet I do!! You have it all Mary, you really do! :) Merry Christmas!
I hate to be a party pooper, but im dreaming of a warm Christmas lol...one where we can sit in Mallory Square in Key West with a margarita in our hand lol. Kidding aside, its very pretty though...the roads are not the best, you would think by now in Jersey the towns would know how to plow the aprons of the road so there isnt 3 feet of slush and water for the kids to wade through to get to the school bus. Merry Christmas!
Good morning Mary - I always dream of a white Christmas and it's very rare that we have one here in our part of Oregon. However it will be reality this year. A big winter storm began over a week ago, bringing snow and ice. We have so much snow that it's impossible to walk anywhere that hasn't been shoveled or plowed. It's snowing again this morning and there are several inches just since last night. I love the way it looks but venturing out is limited. But do I still dream of a white Christmas? Yes, you bet I do! ~Adrienne~
gorgeous!! it will be my vision as i have a southern california christmas. so far, i have rain and grey and that is the best i can do. i love it!!! have a wonderful time with everyone this holiday! jkj
We keep thinking that we are having a nightmare, and when will we wake up from this dream.
Can you tell that no one here is used to this much snow. We have not had a White Christmas for over 10 years. Everything is closed down, airports, streets, stores.....
Mary we can dream and we can wish and we can pray all we want, but here in S Jersey we always get the short end of the stick! LOL! Seems like when ever there is precipt its too warm to snow so we get the RAIN!! I would love a blizzard right about now! Merry Christmas to you and yours! xo Sue
I grew up in New Orleans but have lived up north. Now I live in Savannah, GA where we have the Christmas weather that I grew up with; warm and sunny. I had my windows opened Christmas Day!

Yes, we'll have a white Christmas. However, the wind chill is currently hovering at about 40 below zero.

ReplyDeleteI tried, but all I got was yucky rain...and a yard full of pawn tree junk from the wind. It sure looks beautiful at your place :)

It looks like the Seattle area doesn't need to dream. We've had one storm right after another rolling in, with another on Christmas Eve.
ReplyDeletewell, I'm a southern girl...so a cold Christmas is good. When it snows, the whole state shuts down. I hope your Christmas is beautiful and wonderous.
ReplyDeleteIt's a reality this year! Beautiful shot;)

ReplyDeleteI'm dreaming someone will come and sweep me away to warm exotic island. We have over two and half feet and it's only been winter for a day.
ReplyDeleteIts no dream...we have 124" and more on the way. Merry Christmas to you Mary!
ReplyDeleteLoL ... I don't have to dream! I hope your day is a beautiful one : )
