Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass on a summer day listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is hardly a waste of time. - John Lubbock
That is a great picture. Makes me want to paint. I live near a privately owned forest and I can see the tops of the trees from my backyard. It is open to the public and so neat and clean. I plan a post on it as soon as the rain stops so I can have some sun for pictures. Blessings QMM
Ahhh, sweet summer! If we don't slow down and take in the warm breezes, the smell of freshly mowed grass and the sounds of crickets we are missing out. This is my favorite time of the year!
Hi Mary... Thanks for posting such a peaceful photo to relax my eyes... its so hot and harsh here in Arizona right now... Not that i'm complaining, I love Arizona! We spend most day's and nights in the pool... I Hope your week is going well... ~Really Rainey~
