I'm experiencing total writer's block here at the moment. It must have something to do with the 100+ degree temperatures we had this past week. At any rate, I just wanted to invite you all to join me for Mosaic Monday. Mr. Linky will be up by 8:30 pm Sunday. Hope to see you then! :)
Well, then it's a good thing that a picture is worth a thousand words.
ReplyDeleteHope it cools off for you. The rain brought some cooler temps here and we've had the AC off all day. I love being able to hear the birds.
I'll be there... Up in the middle of the night with too hot room so worked on my mosaic.... Hope things cool down for you!
ReplyDeleteThat picture does not need any words Mary, so everything is Ok. Hope it cools down soon. Take care until then.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope to be there on Monday. I'm working on a huge genealogy project right now.
ReplyDeleteWriter's block... oh, yes. I have it all the time!
Take care though.. it will pass, along with the heat.
Take care.

Beautiful photo, Mary. Susan
ReplyDeleteA photo like this requires no explanation; beautiful. We too have had temps over 100 recently. It almost makes you wish for winter . . . almost.
ReplyDeleteDarryl and Ruth : )
Sending cooler weather your direction. We just had cooler weather and the heat is suppose to be back tomorrow. :(
ReplyDelete100+ is enough to fry anyones brain. No wonder you have writers block
ReplyDeletebeautiful landscape
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful landscape!! I am not good in the heat either. I think it eats your brain cells!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh.. this is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeletemeravigliosa foto magica....
ReplyDeleteI am wishing I was there as well. I recently started following your blog and I spent a wonderful hour browsing through all your beautiful photographs. It was time well spent and I am very relaxed after wondering through the various gardens.
ReplyDeleteI have recently learned how to make a mosaic so I will try to come up with something worth of entry for your Mosaic Monday.
Thank you so much for the inspiration.
Traci
That picture- WOW ♥
ReplyDeleteI think I am in the summer doldrums too. I don't have a lot to write lately, I haven't even been to a yard sale yet this year! I'll have to see if I can squeeze out some inspiration for MM. Where was this beautiful photo taken?
ReplyDeleteHi Traci! Thanks for your kind words, and I will look forward to visiting you soon. :)
ReplyDeleteKathleen Grace, the photo was taken at my favorite park -- Natirar, in Far Hills, NJ. :)
Hello Mary, I don't blame you for being a little 'off' with the heat you've been receiving up there in the north east. We here in Kansas had our share of it and then we had RAIN..flooding fields and roads. Now we have mosquitoes and humidity with warm temperatures...it's certaily been a strange spring and summer so far. I hope you get to enjoy some cooler weather soon ...enjoy your Sunday. Maura :)
ReplyDeleteThose kinds of temps really are brain-numbing. I can use that excuse myself and my posts reflect it, I think. Oh I want to participate, but it's that whole brain-numbing thing going on...
ReplyDeleteIs there anything more lovely than a golden-light-filled field? Just wonderful...
Did you have rain yesterday? we had BUCKETS, which left behind lovely puddles but loads of humidity, ugh.
ReplyDeleteMy sister in Wyckoff got almost no rain, my sister in law in Wayne got some, but we hit the jackpot.
So glad to see the end of the 101 degree days, but this is still one HOT summer!
Your picture is beautiful! I'd love to paint it. If I could paint.
And that writer's block thing? Me too. Let's just chalk it up to summertime blues.
Hope all's well -- Cass
Hi Mary: This is my first year blogging but sometimes it is hard to think up something that someone would be interested in reading. I always enjoy your posts and will see you later.
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to say a thing with a picture this gorgeous. It speaks for itself.
ReplyDeleteYou are so very good at what you do. Thanks for sharing your talents with us.
Cyndi
Who needs words when you capture such a lovely shot. The heat makes writing impossible sometimes. Even here in the UK we're in a heat wave and drought. We've come to a stand still!
ReplyDeleteWhat a glorious picture. You can almost reach out and touch the grass! Thank you!! Cathy
ReplyDeleteThat's a gorgeous place to have writer's block! ::Jill
ReplyDeleteWe have been hot too...but without the humidity, thankfully...or my hair would need it's own zip code!!
ReplyDeletem ^..^
First of all, your pictures can stand alone without words any time, they are so beautiful. And also, seems a lot of bloggers are slowing down for whatever reason. Maybe partly summer and fatigue and heat ... Thanks for posting Monday mosaics so faithfully each week; it's great fun. Sorry I'll miss it the next two weeks. Hope your heat wave disappears soon.
