It was cloudy rainy day over here when I heard the shocking news. There is no way I can explain the way I was feeling. May God protect us all, and may evil never happen anywhere in the world again!
Yes, I thought of them all day yesterday. As with so many people in this wonderful country, we were touched personally by this tragedy. The husband of the sister of my son’s wife was working at Canter Fitzgerald at the time the plane hit the tower. Ridge and Patty had just married and returned from his honeymoon when Chris was killed. The time we spent with him at the wedding in Colorado I will always remember. He was just the greatest fellow. Yesterday, just as I turned on the TV, a gentleman read his name and I cried.
Amen.

ReplyDeleteWhen looking at your post, it is like the shock wave comes back remembering this terrible day. Then it is good to keep quite for a while.
