When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. And when life gives you ice, take pictures. :)
We were actually very lucky here at our Little Red House -- we did get a lot of ice, but only lost power (and internet connections) for about four hours. And our cellar didn't flood. Yay!
And while shoveling ice and slush from the driveway was a really big job, taking pictures of the trees in their glittery garb was my reward.
As much as I long for spring, I have to say that the ice was beautiful.
I hope that wherever you are, you weathered the storm. :)
