As a result of Hurricane Sandy, we are unfortunately still without Internet service and power. Compared with others in Sandy's path, we are blessed. My home state of New Jersey has been devastated in places, almost beyond belief. We are working to get our generator up and running, which will provide heat and running water here at out Little Red House. However, with only my phone to provide Internet service, I will have to cancel Mosaic Monday this week. Please say a prayer or send some good vibes our way.
Thanks so much! Hope to be back online by next weekend. xoxo
Sending lots of prayers, good wishes and good vibes, too. Tucking in some love as well. Be of good courage.
ReplyDeleteTake care, my heart and prayers are with you. Hope to see you on line soon, Hugs Mary
ReplyDeleteGlad you are ok. Hope you get your generator running soon. The pictures showing the destruction from Sandy are awful. We were without power for 13 days after Wilma hit us in 2005. We really appreciated the power companies from different states who came to get our power back on. May you soon be hooked back up to the main grid.
ReplyDeleteLove, hugs and prayers for you ~ FlowerLady
oh, don't you spend 1 tiny second thinking about us! you just stay safe, dry & warm!!! so, glad you didn't get the worst of it! the Air Force flew about 300 so. cal. edison workers & equipment in to help and the L.A. dept. of water & power is having them drive their trucks & equipment all the way there...hope some of that helps you out VERY soon!!! hang in there!

Sending you prayers, Mary. I wondered how you were doing. We were luckier up here in upstate NY. Here's to power, energy, light and warmth. Stay safe.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that you were affected by Sandy. Several of my family members lost everything in the Alabama tornado April 2011. My brother-in-law also lived in New Orleans during Katrina. It was devastating to see the destruction in Tuscaloosa, so I can imagine what you all are experiencing right now. The suffering is weighing heavy on my heart. Hopefully you all will have power soon.
ReplyDeleteYou've got my thoughts and prayers!...:)JP

Hello Mary
ReplyDeleteAll New Zealanders have sent love and prayers to everyone effected by Hurricane Sandy.
My goodness, I can't imagine how frightening and devastating it must be.
We live in a temperate climate so don't suffer from extremes as you do.
However, we are on the earthquake line and have had some terrible devastation over the past two years in Christchurch our third largest city.
I was linking my blog post to your Mosaic Monday and Judith from Lavender Cottage very kindly told me it was cancelled this week.
Take care Mary
thinking of you all and I hope power is restored soon.
Encouraging hugs

Shane - far, far away in New Zealand on the other side of the world!!!!!!!
Prayers are headed your way, my dear friend!

ReplyDeleteMary, I feel so bad...I just came to check to see if you all are up and running and the comment that I left last week, is not on here. I have wondered in the past, if you receive my comments and now, I am most concerned. I leave them every week. My prayers are that you all are doing so much better and that your state is improving on gaining your way back. So very tragic all of the newsfeed we have been hearing. My blessings to you~
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it make you feel wonderful when others care? it does wonders for me!!!...:)JP
