Once again, time has gotten away from me this week, and I'm in a tizzy to post at the last minute. (isn't tizzy a fun word?) I've been participating in a photo group on Facebook called Colors of 2013 with Eva Ricci. Here are my entries for the month of May, where our theme was "blue." As I look at them gathered in this mosaic, I get the feeling that I was actually shooting purple all month... but it is what it is, and it's June now... :)
I'm proud to say that everything here is from my garden, which has been enjoying all the rain this season, even if the rest of us have not. This is the first year that my clematis has taken off, and I'm thrilled! The Siberian Iris are my old standbys. I do love blue (or maybe purple?) flowers best... :)
Here are the instructions to join today's post:

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Isn't it fun to see our gardens come alive?!!!
ReplyDeleteAll shades of blues are beautiful in a garden, or a vase. Your photos are, as always, stunning. Thanks for hosting Mosaic Monday once again.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shots, Mary. Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful - thanks for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting again this week. Have a great week.
The Siberian irises are so saturated with blue/purple that they are incredibly vibrant. The rain certainly is much appreciated by the things that grow so I must learn to stop complaining about rain so much.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary,
ReplyDeleteRain is the most refreshingly stimulating gift, especially for these delicate and delightful blue lovelies, which you have captured in the most dramatic sense! Thanks for hosting!

Beautiful Mary, I love these colors and it's great that the blooms are from your garden!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun project that you are participating in. I haven't been doing many link ups lately but I find myself free with Dear away on business so I have time to visit others.

ReplyDeleteBlue or purple....could be in the eyes of the beholder. Beautiful just the same, and sometimes the camera makes them look a little different.

EXQUISITE Mary!
ReplyDeleteYour blue mosaics are very inspiring.
I learn something new every time from your photos - this time it's your composition.
I need to put more time into staging what I photograph - sometimes I feel I almost get it right!
Thanks to you dear Mary!

Late spring/early summer is always such a busy time. Mary! It is nice to get out an enjoy it! Your blue mosaic is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting this lovely party.
ReplyDeleteYour photos and flowers are wonderful. I think I might have a plate just like the blue and white one. I will have to hunt for it in the attic.
Mary your blues are gorgeous, and I love the way you photographed them. It's had to get back into the swing of things when you are returning from such a magical trip across the pond.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful day.
Karen
