Late again, with no excuse save that I actually forgot that it was Sunday... :) And I know that it's rather amusing for a person who photographs the passage of time -- antique books, dried flowers, old letters, long shadows, dusk -- to be so oblivious herself. One of God's little cosmic jokes. :)
So here are a few more images from my month in yellow. I'm not sure what next month's color will be yet, but I'm almost positive that you will be seeing a lot of it! ;)

A pretty still life. Love lemon curd - just hand me a jar of it and a spoon.:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting - appreciate what you do.
I would not worry about being late, you are gracious to be our host. I have not tried lemon curd, what do you use it as a spread like Jam? I do love the taste of lemons. Lovely mosaics, have a happy week ahead!
ReplyDeleteEileen, I must confess that I bought the jar of lemon curd expressly to photograph... which happens with a lot of my purchases. :) Ihave used it in the past of English muffins, but now I'm gluten-free, I will probably mix a little bit of it with plain yogurt and fresh fruit...
DeleteThanks, sounds like it would be great with the fresh fruit and yogurt!
Deleteooo - I have never thought of having it like that - though I must say lemon meringue pie filling goes great with icecream!
DeleteWant a lemon butter recipe? - http://lifeimagesbyjill.blogspot.com.au/2012/11/lemons-and-lemon-butter.html

Oh I can forget anything. You're in good company. Yellow? I thought the color was pea soup green and had to go back. Yes! Lots of yellow and it really pops, too. See how quickly I can forget?
ReplyDeleteYou're too funny, Vee! I'm feeling like the Queen of Forgetfulness these days... Nice to know I'm not alone! :)
DeleteYellow can be both soothing and exciting. I love your hues of yellow vignette. )
ReplyDeletehappy summer, Mary!
Oh gosh! I haven't done a Mosaic Monday in a long time and I used to love creating them. I really need to get my butt in great. I always love the ones you do Mary, your photos are so soothing. I especially love the one at the bottom with the lemons...lovely!
ReplyDeleteMary, what is the flower on the bottom picture? I learned mosaics here, but i am not in the swing of things quite yet. Yellow is so pretty. I am enjoying seeing it on your posts.
ReplyDeleteTerri, the flowers are actually orange ranunculus that have dried. I tend to save flowers when they begin to fade... In case I might want to use them in a photograph. :)
DeleteBut where is the scone to go with the lemon curd? So delicious! DO you make your own? I do when the lemon tree is loaded. My gosh you have beautiful light coming through your window.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week, and thank you for hosting Mosaic Monday.
Jill, no lemon trees in my climate! It must be wonderful to grow your own!!! And I would love a scone, but I no longer eat wheat... :(
DeleteHope your week is lovely, too! xoxo
Another beautiful mosaic photo ~ lovely and creative ~ Happy Day to you ^_^
ReplyDeleteYou are becoming quite adept at still life, Mary. It's much more difficult than people thing, isn't it? The colors and the mood are impressive. I love this!
ReplyDeleteIt takes a lot of trial and error to get the elements correct (at least it does for me)! Thanks so much, Kate. :) xoxo
DeleteHi Mary, as always your photos are a delight. Thank you for hosting.

DeleteBeautiful yellows, Mary. The last photograph is my favorite. "Stills" always make me smile...
ReplyDelete"Stills" are beautiful and I seem to not be good at them perhaps it's because I love movement!!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteMORE of those glorious yellow images!! I love these, Mary!! So much!!
ReplyDeleteAnd, yes.... cosmic jokes... I love clocks - fascinated with them - don't know why. I have absolutely no concept of the passage of time! I'm always late! sigh. =/
