OK, game on. It's (past) time to fill the containers on my deck. After yesterday's inspiration, I'm ready to rock. So here are some raw materials, and my garden bag, filled with gloves and spades and fertilizer. Oh, and coyote urine. Did you see that? Someone gave it to me (yes, it was actually a gift) to keep the deer away from my garden. One problem, though.
Yep, you guessed it.
First up, Heliotrope. Gorgeous color, beautiful leaves, and the most heavenly fragrance ever!
Next, some Gomphrena. Aren't they the cutest things? They are also great dried, although I have never tried to do it. Maybe this year is the year...
Some tiny white Euphorbia, and cheerful bicolor Sweet Williams. They are such a sweet cottage garden staple, and they smell divine, too. They also tend to reseed from year to year, so I often find a few growing in my pots in early spring. Don't you just love flowers that are so obliging?
Well, who doesn't like Petunias? And white ones are so classic!
OK, here's a start...
And you will have to come back tomorrow to see the finished product!
If you get a chance, head on over to Kacey's blog, Wine on The Keyboard, and vote in the Photo of the Month contest. Lots of fun photos to see...
