We are in the middle of a tremendous thunderstorm as I'm preparing this post. It's a blessing -- we really need the rain -- but to tell you the truth, I'm afraid to be on the computer right now. So forgive me, but in order to get this post up at the proper time, I'm going to be brief.
Yes, this is yet another Bunny Williams post. She has this wonderful barn that has been converted to an entertaining space, and it was open to the public along with her garden during the Garden Conservancy's Open Days program back in June. I love all the antiques here, so I tried to take a lot of closeups of of her tables. There are also some closeups of the two bathrooms in the barn, and the guest bedroom, which is upstairs.
Ooops, there's another crack of lightning, so I'm out of here. Enjoy!

First of all, thank you for putting this link-up together for all of us to play with every week!
ReplyDeleteSecond - well, Bunny's house is just too lovely for words. I love the needlepoint touches and wonder if the large bench in front of the fireplace is needlepoint. It's all gorgeous.
It's hard to imagine that as a 'barn'! What a fabulous place and I'm sure it's even more beautiful in person! Enjoy the week ahead!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm - there seems to be a glitch with the link, as it says I've already linked, but there is no sign of it.....
ReplyDeleteI wonder why it is called a barn, it is beautiful inside. Nothing like the barns I see, LOL! I love all the wood beams. Lovely place and photos. Thanks for sharing and hosting another week of Mosaic Monday! Have a wonderful week ahead.
ReplyDeleteYou can take us to Bunny's place anytime! That is quite a barn!!!!! Thanks for hosting. Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteSo much inspiration there, but I would not call it a barn. :-D Know what you mean about the storms - when they roll thru I unplug and find something else to do.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting again this week - I am in.
What a great home tour. I love where the desk is placed. Just beautiful. Thanks for hosting.

I've been off and on the computer for the same reason.
ReplyDeleteLots of color, texture, pattern and large scales in this wonderful space. Of all the neat things to see, I especially like the pillow with three dogs. It made me stop and look twice.
(Having trouble linking up. The link is sitting on the "having trouble" page so I'll not try to link up again.)
This is a "barn"?! WOW!!!!! Thunderstorm headed our way --hope it cools off this humidity! It was so much nicer in Colorado!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Pat
Stay safe!! We received much needed rain last night. The thunder and lightening were welcome!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, as always.
That is one gorgeous barn! Having that same weather here, it's so loud!
ReplyDeleteI love Bunny's barn. Thanks so much for these wonderful photos, Mary!
ReplyDeleteThreatening to rain here, but not delivering as yet. Glad you are getting some moisture. This barn looks more like a palace. Love it!
ReplyDeleteHugs,

ReplyDeleteSo lovely to look at. Thanks for sharing. Storming here. I will be back to visit others.

After scrolling through the beautiful pix I had to go back to see the title again (I thought, this cannot be a BARN)....but after reading more carefully and remembering your other posts about Bunny's beautiful grounds and home, it made sense!
ReplyDeleteThanks for putting up this meme in the middle of the storm. I hope it brings you needed rain and no damage!
I love the photo with the round window and the bottle, beautiful! Thanks for hosting again this week, Laura
ReplyDeleteamazing that this is a barn! I love the open spaces of the room - a bit like my house, although I don't have all the glorious furnishings and decorating she has. So lovely - thank you for taking me there and for hosting Mosaic Monday. We have just had a rain storm here too and I dashed out to bring in the washing. Must get onto my other work now!
ReplyDeleteLOVED this home!! Love the furniture, folk art, arched windows, eclectic mix of pictures...just divine. Thx for sharing. Thx for hosting. Hope you get lost of needed rain :)
ReplyDeleteI've always thought that converting a barn to a living space is such a romantic idea. What a wonderful space Bunny has created.
ReplyDeleteI hope the rain has refreshed your area.

This is a great photo meme. I love doing mosaic collections- and i did try to add my link- but for some reason it didn't appear (even though when i tried again it said i was there already). Anyway, congrats on a great challenge. You might like to visit mine too - Mandarin Orange Monday:)
ReplyDeleteI love everything in the barn! I'd like to put myself in it. xo Jenny
ReplyDeleteI love that you are posting so much about Bunny Williams. I love her style. She has everything that I like. I would LOVE to live in a barn like that.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you Mary. Thanks for posting in a down-pour. Glad you are getting rain.
Be safe and stay dry.

They call that a barn? : - )
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful.
Thank you for hosting your linky party, and have a truly fabulous week.
Hi Mary!
ReplyDeletesuch a wonderful and cosy barn, and I love all of these things around.
Happy Mosaic Monday!
Best wishes,
AnnA
What a lovely space she has created!
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you for getting off the computer during a thunderstorm. Hope you got a good rain! :)
Each and every room is picture perfect!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteThat's a barn! OMG~my goats would really enjoy that barn.
ReplyDeleteWow this is incredible! I love all of the antiques and the light coming into those windows! My Great Aunt Bunna and Uncle Donald turned the old homestead barn into their home and they lived there in a beautiful way for over 70 years. The old barn sold for over $160,000.00 last year. Have a sweet week~
ReplyDeleteI would be scared too if lightning strikes. I'd be turning the computer off for sure. Anyway, my late entry. Such a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful place. Oh thank you for sharing photos. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to believe this was once a barn. Lovely photos and inspirational!
ReplyDeleteHi Mary, I hope you are OK. I have tried to e-mail you and it will not move me to your e-mail address any longer. Will we be having Mosaic Monday this week? I had checked several times since last evening and I cannot bring up a new post. Since I can not get to your e-mail either, I thought it may be something wrong with things from my end. Thanking you so much for sharing life with us on this lovely meme. I really appreciate it so very much~
ReplyDeleteHello Mary
ReplyDeleteOh I love that barn entertaining space too. A beautiful eclectic mix.
It looks so warm and inviting - lovely as here in the southern hemisphere it's wintry cold!!!
I could happily curl up with a book by the fireplace!
I'm sure you could have too with the lightening outside!
I'm your newest follower and will link to your next Mosaic Monday post.
