It's snowing here in New Jersey as I write this (on Saturday). It's not supposed to amount to much, but it is coming down pretty hard right now. Less than a week till the start of spring, and it's snowing. :(
So I've decided to anticipate spring if only in my dreams. These are some new spring images currently in my etsy shop. What could say "spring" better than snowdrops, daffodils, forsythia and primroses?
And maybe a day without snow?
Wishing you all a very happy St. Patrick's Day! xoxo

ReplyDeleteGreat shots! I took my camera on a walk last Friday to capture a few signs of Spring, but did not have much luck.
Hope you are enjoying the weekend.
We are having gorgeous spring weather in New Mexico! Thank you so much for hosting...hugs, Penny
ReplyDeleteHappy St. Patrick's Day Mary. We also had snow today, so your spring photos are welcome to starved gardener.
ReplyDeleteI'm anxiously anticipating right along with you Mary, it was snowing this morning. But, I can see green sprouts poking out of the ground at the front where the sun hits in the afternoon.

Very pretty mosaic of spring's earliest blooms. Thank you for hosting. Pamela ~ playingwithmycamera
ReplyDeleteDefinitely more spring-like your way. I love the softness of these photos...the blooms look fragile...the feeling of early spring.
ReplyDeleteLove your signs of Spring! Can't wait to see this around here! We're going to have another snow storm tomorrow!

In Houston, it is spring, the most perfect time of the year. Yours will be there soon.
ReplyDeleteI want to see Spring blooms like that in our yard too!! However, the forecast said we might get more "winter" Monday night!!!! Keep enjoying your blooms!!!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteYOur images are lovely and I hope they will tide you over until your yard begins to bloom in earnest. Thanks again for hosting Mosaic Monday.
ReplyDeleteHappy Saint Paddy's Day, Mary. It snowed here in NE Missouri this morning and has off and on all day. Thankfully it is one of our typical March snows, so far. Beautiful and short lived. Hoping it stays that way, melting quickly...this is wedding
ReplyDeleteweek.:-)
I love the shots. Absolutely incredible as always!
These flowers really mean Spring no matter where you live! Enjoy your afternoon! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteHappy St Pats ! : ) weather here...well we are supposed to have ice, freezing rain, then maybe snow on top and later changing to rain sometime tomorrow afternoon. We'll see...3/4 of the time they are wrong
ReplyDeleteWe are also expecting snow this week. Just when most of it had melted, we'll get a new dusting. Love your photos today, and your Spring photos on your Etsy shop.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday.
Karen
I love the overlays you applied Mary. Rain falls almost continually here in the Pacific Northwest, but the yellow daffodils announce the miracle of spring returning. Thank you for hosting us!
ReplyDeleteHere in East Tennessee it's been a glorious weekend, but mid-week is expected to be below freezing at night. That's good for the tulips, so I won't complain! Your photos are beautiful "dreams!"
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting and for sharing your beautiful dreams of spring! That's all I can do, dream because none of these beauties bloom where we are! But I have wonderful memories from when we lived in Oregon!
ReplyDeleteSuch tender springtime images, Mary! It's lovely to be back at Mosaic Monday - I so appreciate this link!
ReplyDeleteWe had a few spring like days, mary, and all the snow melted. I actually saw crocuses blooming! Have faith --Spring is on it's way:)
ReplyDeleteWonderful signs of Spring and marvelous photos. Best regards, Synnöve
ReplyDeleteYour spring flowers are precious. Happy Monday to YOU>
ReplyDeleteYour photography is exquisite of those beautiful flowers ~ Enjoy ^_^
ReplyDeleteIt's the daffodils that are speaking to me! Lovely portraits.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary -- batten down the hatches for more snow later today; I think we'll get 2 inches or so.
ReplyDeleteNot a lot, but SO annoying at this time of year, when what we want to see are the little baby bulbs popping up.
My crocuses are going to be SO ticked off -- the foliage is happily poking up thru the winter cover, totally unsuspecting.
Love those daffodils; love your pictures.
Let's hear it for SPRING!

Well, this winter seems to be taking longer all over the world! I had to use Spring images from LAST year! I'm bringing Spring INSIDE though so it's not TOO bad! Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteOH everything is about to burst into full Spring glory in your little corner Mary!
ReplyDeleteI love the quiet little snowdrop hanging her head alongside the vivid cheeky crocus!
Nature creates the most wonderful bed mates!
I enjoy joining Mosaic Monday each week - thank you Mary!

Your spring florals are just exactly what I need today: it is cold, grey, blustery rainy and AWFUL to day.
ReplyDeleteI need a shot of spring big time!! I think we ALL DO!!!!
Thanks for hosting.
Wonderful photography and so spring like ~ Thanks so much for hosting this wonderful blog hop ~ delightful ~ Enjoy ^_^
ReplyDeleteYour mosaic is lovely, Mary. We've got spring galore here.
ReplyDeleteAs I sit here reading this on Monday night it is snowing again:( I feel like crying! The one good thing about it is that I know it won't last long at this time of year...
ReplyDeleteThese photos are so beautiful Mary! We are still covered in feet of snow here in Edmonton, so the florals here are a warm reminder that this will soon pass. I used photos taken last year in the garden for my mosaics, tying in the theme of green for St. Patrick's Day. You are all invited to come for a visit: http://shirley-agardenerslife.blogspot.ca/2013/03/a-visage-of-green-for-st-patricks-day.html.
ReplyDeleteI am desperately in need of spring and green. Your pictures are wonderful reminders of what it will be like.
