Last year when my daughter and I went to London, the rose garden at Hyde Park was not quite in bloom yet. This year, it was blooming with exuberant abandon. The fragrance was amazing! My family took a short break from our epic, eight-mile sightseeing hike to let me shoot a few photos. :) Such a beautiful garden!

Mary, lovely images from the rose garden! An 8 mile hike around London, sounds like fun! Beautiful photos and mosaics. Thanks for hosting, enjoy your week ahead!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful trip and to enjoy those brief photo shoots sounds divine. I wish you had smell a vision on your blog. Although I would have to admit 8 miles I would be stopping more than briefly to make it through. So happy to be rejoining your Monday party thanks for continuing your good work.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful time of year! Thanks for the mosaic monday fun! Hugs, Diane

This is gorgeous. I visited Hyde Park a while back but it was during that transitions between winter and spring so nothing was blooming but I remember how much I loved it. I can only imagine if I had seen it blooming like this. Thank you for sharing with us.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful ! Thanks for sharing.

Hyde Park Garden, and Roses, I have heard about but never seen any of their blooms. So, so pretty and you always make the prettiest presentations too!
ReplyDeleteI am letting everyone know, as some have sent messages... I'll be back next week. Having some difficulty adjusting to new medication and old ones, but will in time~
The roses are extraordinary; wish I could smell the sweet fragrance.
ReplyDeleteYou have taken some truly beautiful photos there - it sounds like you had a wonderful trip. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love your last two posts Mary. I'm just leaving for Europe tomorrow and will be in England in a week. Can't wait for my birthday and RBG Kew. It's a tradition.
ReplyDeleteMary Carroll, awesome garden and photo's.
ReplyDeleteMy Dad's best friend was Johnnie Carroll, he used to fly Bi-wing planes.

Hi Mary! Gorgeous photos. The last one of the roses, with some of them fading, gives me hope that even THOSE gardeners can't keep up with dead heading all the time! I am pea green that you got to England TWICE in two years. I haven't been since 2004, and am having withdrawal .... but meanwhile I will enjoy the stellar weather NJ is having. Ain't it grand? I've got baby tomatoes and baby peppers growing, and Gilda is eating all the blossoms off any plants she can reach. Happy summer! -- Cass
ReplyDeleteThanks for having this great blog party.
ReplyDeleteJust so beautiful, Mary! sigh. =) I think that what I want for my birthday (which we agreed we would celebrate when I was alive again ;) ) is to visit someplace beautiful with a garden so that I can just take pictures. You and Jose Villa in Italy have convinced me of the need! ;)
