Wild Nights, Wildwood

Hi everybody!  Thank you for all your kind comments while I was gone.  I'm still not quite back into the swing of daily blogging, so I am just going to show you a few photos from our vacation to Wildwood, NJ.

A thick shroud of mist covered the boardwalk on our first night there, giving the lights on the rides an ethereal glow.  The rest of the week was clear and beautiful, including a fireworks display on Friday.  I'll show you some daytime shots tomorrow, and then hopefully I will be back to my normal routine by Wednesday.

  2. Wow, these pics brought back memories of my children when they were little boys. We stayed in Wildwood for several days with some friends. Although I prefer the beaches of North Carolina over New Jersey any day, you can't beat the fun of a Wildwood evening! My boys loved the boardwalk with its rides and shops and especially the lights! Welcome home, Mary.

  8. Hi Mary,
    Welcome back!
Wonderful pictures you took of Wildwood. Makes me homesick, we used to go there all the time when I was younger. We would go camping ~ lots of wonderful memories of time spent there.
    Looking forward to more pics!
    Have a great day,

  14. My mom always said she needed a vacation from her vacation when ever we got home from a trip. It takes time to get back into the normal swing of things.
Your shots are amazing. I love the bright colors.
I miss the boardwalks back east.
    Welcome home. *hugs*

  17. Welcome back Mary!

We use to vacation in Wildwood, NJ a lot when the kids were litle! Loved the boardwalk (and some of the best fudge I've ever eaten)and Duffy's On The Lake --one of the best seafood restaurants in Wildwood Crest!

    Such memories....
