Do Tell, Christmas Edition



So, are we having fun yet?

Those of us who are in the throes of holiday planning -- shopping, wrapping, cleaning, primping, baking, and whatever else needs doing -- are we having fun?

    3. I am dreaming of a white Christmas but considering I live in Houston that's all it will be.

    Oh, Holy Night, followed by the entire 'Charlie Brown's Christmas' soundtrack.

    3.Are you dreaming of a white Christmas?
    No! We got that last year. The furnace broke, the pipes froze, and we couldn't travel to Portland to see the kids for Christmas!

    4.What is your best crowd-pleaser Christmas recipe?

    Probably my baked beans, using 6 kinds of beans with lots of molasses, brown sugar, and bacon.


    5.What would you love to see under the tree on Christmas morning?

    I'd love to have a shiny blue Schwinn cruiser bike with a basket so I could ride to the library and bring home books in the basket. (my husband jokes that I'd put Toto in the basket and threaten poor little Dorothy!

    Are you dreaming of a white Christmas? Not really... except it did snow Christmas Eve in 2004, but this is deep south Texas. Truly rare!
