Goodnight, Irene...

Greetings, peeps! I just wanted to touch base with you all before Sunday. Here in New Jersey, we are expecting Hurricane Irene to arrive sometime between tonight and tomorrow morning. There is a distinct possibility that we will lose power and/or internet access at some point. So if you don't see Mosaic Monday here at the usual time on Sunday night, that is the reason.

For all of you in Irene's path, stay safe and dry. I will hope to see you here on Sunday night, but I may not be able to check in till next week... :)

(Oh, and the photo is just another of my 400+ from San Francisco.)

  4. Hopefully, we took some of the punch out of it in NC. I am about 20 miles from where it landed. Not too much damage per say, just a lot of flooding. Stay safe and hope Irene passes without too much of a nuisance.

  6. Mary you take the most beautiful photos. We visited SF in 2009 and enjoyed our visit although we were sick for a week after sightseeing the city. Luckily we found a nice KOA campground north of the city to rest at until we felt better.

I'm in SE PA and the rain is pouring down now. The winds are suppose to get worst as the night goes on. Hope we don't lose power but we do have our travel van parked here (our storage facility told us they had flooding during the last hurricane so we decided to bring the van to the house) and it has a generator. We can always go out there if we lose power in the house. Not sure if it would be rocking and rolling with the wind. LOL! Hope all is ok with you and your home this weekend.

  23. Delighted to read in Mosaic Monday post that you are safe, 7" of rain and a flood in the cellar does not sound great though. Take Care.
