Mosaic Monday: Society6

I've been in a purple fog lately.  Not the mental health kind, the photo editing kind.  :)

A lot of you who visit here come for the garden photos.  But you may not know that I also have a small portrait photography business, and an etsy shop, selling fine art prints and calendars.  And now, I've just opened a society6 shop, featuring some of the photos you see in the mosaic above.  In addition to selling fine art prints and canvases, the shop also includes iphone cases, laptop and ipad skins, and pillows.

Nature photography has always been my first love, and photo editing has taken the place of pastels and charcoals for me.  I love to open Photoshop and get creative.  Thus, my purple fog.  :)

If you have some time, I would be so grateful if you could stop by the shop and share it with your friends on Facebook and Twitter, or pin something you like on Pinterest.  There are FB, Twitter and Pinterest icons on each image page.  Thanks so much!

Here are the instructions to join today's post:
1. Publish your Mosaic Monday post. The post may be about any subject you wish. The only stipulation is that it include a collage, or mosaic of photos.
2. Once it is published, click on the title of the post. This will lead you to the static link for your post. The static link is the page with only that post on it. Copy the url from your browser at the top of the page.
3. Paste the url into the appropriate inlinkz box in this post.
4. Type your name in the appropriate inlinkz box in this post.
5. Click on "Enter."
6. Please link back to this Mosaic Monday post so that your readers can find other wonderful mosaics.

That's all there is to it! It's always a good idea to then check and see if your link is working. If you have any questions, feel free to email me: mrcarroll(at)optonline.net

And a quick reminder: if you would like to join Mosaic Monday but don't know quite where to start, there is a tutorial on mosaic-making on my sidebar. Just scroll down, and click on the small blue mosaic.

  7. May I just say that the portraits are beyond gorgeous. I've never seen anything as fine. The way that you have placed the children in natural settings that complement THEM is marvelous...the little auburn haired girl in the autumn leaves...sigh.

  20. Still, if it would be the purple mental health fog, it wouldn't be too bad for me, since purple is my favorite color:) Great shots, and happy to finally have a mosaic!

  21. Congratulations on your new shop Mary. I will go and have a look later and spread the word. Thank you for always hosting mosaicmonday. Most hosts post their memes a bit earlier in the day so that it is easier for us Europeans to post. I do get up in the middle of the night at 2 am to get a bit early in the line. If ever you could post a few hours earlier I think we on the other side of the pond would all be very grateful.
Thank you and a very Merry Christmas.

  27. Thank you so very much for your kind comments re...our daughter Brittany. She got to return home last evening following 16 days in 2 hospital's 5 major infections, and 2 surgeries. We are thankful and hopeful now.
I adore your ways with creativity and the purple fog is really wonderful. Kind of reflective of the mood I am in for the moment.
    Have a wonderful week~
