Last week I went on a local garden tour sponsored by The Historical Society of the Somerset Hills. There were some beautiful gardens to see, which I will probably post about next week, but first I thought I would show you this wonderful garden shed.
Wouldn't you love to sit at this bench and look out the window while potting up some seedlings?
I just love the charming mixture of pretty and practical!
And the outside is just as adorable as the inside. :)
So, next week there will be more gardening posts. Hope you don't mind, but I've been to a lot of open gardens this month, and I've got tons of pictures to share with you.
fantastico!

Can you even imagine having such a beautiful garden shed as that? I think I'd use it as an art studio as well! If I painted that is. Somehow I doubt the shed is usually that tidy ; )
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Can't imagine such a perfect garden shed!?
ReplyDeleteI don't know. Sometimes garden sheds make me feel envious. This one is very nice!
ReplyDeleteOh now that is my idea of a garden shed but if you want to see what a real garden shed looks like I will show you mine and it ain't pretty. LOL. V
ReplyDeleteI just whined to my husband "I don't have a garden shed like that". Lol. I don't think I am allowed to play over here any more.
ReplyDeletethis looks so much more inviting and comfortable than sitting on the bottom step or my rotting front porch and leaning over whatever I am planting, or transplanting. I could spend hours here!
ReplyDeleteIt is so pretty, and practical! I wish I had one ;P
ReplyDeleteMary! At first I thought that was your garden shed, and I was going to be insanely jealous! It is wonderful none-the-less! Wow!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a wonderful place to spend an afternoon.....smiles.
ReplyDeleteMary, dear, this little shed is HEAVENLY!! It seems like such a wonderful place to putter around. What is it that we love so much about these tiny buildings?
ReplyDeleteSuch a great and really charming garden shed. If only we could all have one! As I have mentioned in one of my principles of design postings, this is a great example I pointed out- that is a great "focal point" for a garden. You can "feel" the character of the garden in one photo. Jack
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly what I want! Your timing couldn't be any better on this, thank you!
ReplyDeleteKat :)
What a charming potting shed. I'm sure the plants would flourish!
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh, the gardening shed of my dreams!!! Such an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteNow that is what I call a garden shed. I might want to do a sleepover in it, its so cute and cozy!! Love it......I bet even the plants are happy and thrive in such a pretty place:)
ReplyDeleteOh I would LOVE ashed like that!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteI could just move right in to that garden shed it is so beautiful. I absolutely love it.

ReplyDeleteI wish my shed looked like that.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have this as my own little refuge to relax!

I'll have to show that to my personal builder (also known as my Husband!)
ReplyDeleteThere are never too many garden photos from you! I do think you could have a book published of the gardens and flowers in your area....This shed has me salivating:)

I have a New very fashionable Giveaway on my site!
Um. This garden shed? It's nicer than my house.
ReplyDeleteThis garden shed is absolutely darling. It also looks very functional. Beauty and function, boy something we all strive for!
ReplyDeleteFunny! I kept coming to check for a new post and, then, suddenly, the very next day, I see that I've missed a few. I think that I have a very poor perception of time goes.
ReplyDeleteI'm here, now, though, and, WOW!!!!! I love potting sheds. I really do! and, I noticed the same thing that you did - very pretty and polished but not "fake". It looks like it's really used and practical. We have great plans for one but I think that mine might have a dirt floor and, I suspect, lots of spiders.
In to the pile of inspiration, this post goes - thanks for sharing it!=]
Love, Me xo
Lovely and charming! Just look how neatly stocked those stuffs are! I will the same for my garden shed! perfect!
