Nuts For Nutella

Ooooey, gooey, creamy, nutty, CHOCOLATEY goodness.

In a jar.

I'm nuts for Nutella.

'Nuff said.
Have a wonderful weekend, dear bloggers!

  1. Good Morning Mary!
I LOVE Nutella!! Try using it in place of peanut butter in 'peanut butter' cookies.. so they'd be Nutella cookies.. OMG! Dee-lish!!!
    Have a fabulous weekend!
    :) Abbie

  2. WHERE HAVE I BEEN? I've never heard of Nutella.
    Must seek it out....

  3. Hi Mary

We got through jars of this in our house!
Once in awhile I've been able to get the super big jar in Costco!

The girls and I love to dig in and make ritz cracker sandwiches!

    Have a great Sat!

  4. Hi Mary!
I'm going to try Nutella, I love chocolate flavor ANYTHING! Thanks for visiting my new blog and for your comment. I'm so excited about this new world of blogging with such great people! Love your site!

  5. I have never tried it but have wanted to. Perhaps that would be a good comfort food to get to end up this long winter :-) Rosie

  6. Can you believe I've never tasted Nutella? I think maybe the Lord of the Manor tried it in the UK. Or something like it.
On your recommendation, I'll try to track it down.
    Hugs, Laura

  7. I am on the hunt for Nutella. Maybe Trader Joe's?

  8. There's a stepford housewife somewhere in the country who has shifted to food!!!
Thanks for the post :) you made me smile :) Have a cheery day.

P.S. OK now I will buy Nutella because of you.

  9. Hi Mary!

This is my most favorite treat!!! I get the big jars at either World Market or Trader Joe's!

Nutella on graham crackers (the cinnamon ones, of course)and a big glass of milk! My favorite midnight snack!

It's also great on fruit - apples, pears, you get the picture!

You are a woman after my own heart!

  10. Ouuu Mary my daughter just bought a jar home for me to try and I told her she had better hide it or I will be putting it on everything!
    Oh its so yummy!

    Hugz, Dolly

  11. I bought some the other day, but have not tried it yet. I always see it on Everyday Italian with Giada on the Food Network. Can't wait to try it!

  12. Hi, Mary, I had to go back & catch up on your posts & look at your pretty pics. Love that little egg pic you got from Donna. She is very talented & a sweet lady! Love those doggies too.

Can you believe, I've never had Nutella. I've heard of it, but never tried it. So, I'm missing out, huh??!

  13. On the Food Network site, type in Giada De Lau. (don't know how to spell her name), anyway, she does Everyday Itailian. She has a recipe for "Chocolate Hazelnut Smooches". They are like the peanut blossom cookies I have always made, but use substitute Nutella for the peanut butter and add a Hershey Kiss at the end of baking time. Check it out---that was my favorite cookie to take, give, and exchange this year for Christmas.

  14. I bought my very first jar of this today!!
It is a matter of fact I do believe I hear a Nutella/banana sandwich callin' my name for suppah! *wink*

  15. Nutella is the best for s'mores.

    1. Spread Nutella thickly onto two graham crackers.
2.Toast a marshmallow or two over a fire or in a toaster oven.
    3. Squish melted marshmallow between crackers.
    4. Eat.
    5. Repeat as necessary!

  16. I LOVE Nutella, but haven't had any for a while - I think since our last trip to Ireland in fact. I've had luck finding it at a store that imports Italian food around here.

    It's worth the hunt!

  17. Oh Mary,

I don't have any in the house and now I want some in the worst way! I'm trying to watch what I eat lately and now everything I see I want. Last night it was Reeses peanut butter easter eggs...come to think of it, I still have some more and that might just solve my nutella craving for the moment. Good dessert following my light and healthy tuna sandwich...

  18. Don't even get me started on Nutella! Peanut Butter-Nutella Brownies, I can't even go there!

  19. Oh, I'd forgotten all about Nutella! Thanks so much for reminding me.

    Now where are my keys?

  20. Hi Mary
oh, I did not know that there is "the good Nutella" in the absolutely same Design, as here in Germany: -) I hope much that she tastes just as wonderful, like here, because I love this chocolate on breakfast bread, and my figure also...*lol*
    Take care

  21. I have never tried Nutella, but I will pick some up next time I go out...LOOKS YUMMY....MISSY

  22. I have eaten this for years... love love love it. When I came over to America for a holiday, I had to go searching for it, but when I did, it mady me h-a-p-p-y *grin*

  23. I've never had it...perhaps I ought to pick some up eh?

  24. The stuff is addictive, isn't it? ;o) At my blog I have a recipe in the recipe section for a pasty using Nutella as filling...heaven! Have a sweet weeekend ((HUGS))

  25. Seen it and wondered.. thanks for answering my question! Have a great weekend.

  26. I was born and raised in Germany and German kids eat Nutella sandwiches like american kids eat peanut butter sandwiches. It's one of the few things that is readily available here that reminds me of 'home'. Nutella is delicious on crepes too. Spread it on one, roll it up and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. It's to die for...:)

  27. I am originally from England and we are into Nutella on hot buttery toast...yummy! Uh-oh now I am craving and that's not good when you're on Weightwatchers! LOL

  28. I just wanted to tell you I bought my first jar of Nutella today...hubby and I are both anxious to try it on biscuits in the morning. He had never heard of it, either. Where have we been???:)

  29. All I can say is.......oooohhhhhh yeah, uh-huh.....yummy!
    Amanda (aka Cottage Contessa)

  30. I love Nutella! I have a jar in the cabinet right now! I am the only one that likes it so it's all mine!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment. I love to hear what you have to say!
