Mosaic Monday: Autumn Hues

For some strange reason, I don't have many pumpkin pictures in my archives. I was all set to do a Halloween mosaic when I found a decided lack of winter squash on the hard drive. lol

So, I thought a ramble through some autumn landscapes might do the trick. :) What do you love about autumn? For me, it is the golden hues all around -- from the drying grasses in the fields to the touch of orange in the evening sky. Hope you enjoy my autumn hues.

Now let's have some mosaic fun! Here are the instructions:

  1. Publish your Mosaic Monday post.
  2. Once it is published, click on the title of the post. This will lead you to the static link for your post. The static link is the page with only that post on it. Copy the url from your browser at the top of the page.
  3. Paste the url into the appropriate Mr. Linky box in this post.
  4. Type your name in the appropriate Mr. Linky box in this post.
  5. Click on "Enter."
  6. Please link back to this Mosaic Monday post so that your readers can find other wonderful mosaics.
That's all there is to it! It's always a good idea to then check and see if your link is working. If you have any questions, feel free to email me: mrcarroll(at)optonline.net. I can't wait to see your mosaics! Here is Mr. Linky:

  1. Oh, Mary! How lovely! These are photos from around where you live? Living on the Texas Gulf Coast we don't really have seasons. I do love fall, it does cool down a bit - 76' today! But I jus crank down the AC and pretend it's a chill from outdoors. :)
I'm so excited to be the first to link! woo hooness.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)

  14. Mary I have a question. I see that you went to Minima Stretch and I want to do that. Here is my confusion. My header will not center. No matter how I do it. And I don't like it off center. I see yours looks good. How did you do that????

  16. Mary,
I love your autumn pictures. I had already linked to Mr. Linky when I realized you wanted Autumn Hues. I know my Indian Blue Peacocks aren't autumny colors, but I visited them in Autumn at an Oktoberfest pumpkin patch...does that qualify?

Thanks for hosting and next time I'll see if there's a theme before I link up.

  30. Such a calm, serene mosiac, Mary! That's what I love so much about late fall - nature has a sense that it's time to slow down and rest for a season. Although our society is always in OVER-DRIVE nature is there is calm our spirits and say, "Hey, wait a minute - there is a time a season for everything!" We would be wise to listen. Shhhh, can you hear?!

  31. Love those misty colour tones in the mosaic! Especially love the haunting tones in the top middle and bottom middle photos!
