  3. Mary,
Even the days in Florida have been gray and chilly. I will be looking for some of those cheery yellow daffodils today at the market.

  15. Aahhh ... thank you for your picture of this little spot of sunshine. I grew up in Tennessee where they are very common in the early Spring and next to hydrangeas and Texas bluebonnets a definite favorite of mine.

  18. Well, Mary, Blogger finally decided to give me back my embedded comments privileges so I can finally stop by and say, "Hello!" As I negotiate our unusual winter weather I appreciate all the color and flowers anyone has to offer - the yellow in the daffodil is just scrumptious!

  19. :) Lovely! But...today I picked up your beautiful book of flowers that you sent to me and looked through it once again. Thank you, Mary. A wonderful way to visit flowers when there are none, or not many out there. I, of course, taped your sweet card in it...so after I'm gone my children will know who sent it.
I fell in love with you blog 14 months ago, my very first visit to a blog..which I've told you, and because of you, I gave it a try. What a wonderful trip it has all been!
Hugs and love for all you give us!

  21. Hello from hot and sunny Brisbane. It's very tropical here and daffodils quickly rot in the ground. Sometimes if I'm lucky with my timing, I may get a few bulbs going by early spring. Our climate just doesn't get cold enough. They are so beautiful. Sigh...
