Mosaic Monday: Yellow and Purple

As much as I complain about winter, I love the change of seasons. On these last days of August, the fields around us are filled with purple asters and thistle, and yellow goldenrod. They signal the end of summer, and the beginning of cooler days and nights.

And they are the perfect color combination. :)

These shots were taken last week at Willowwood Arboretum. If you are ever in the area, it is definitely worth a visit. It's a wonderful place to take pictures, stroll about the gardens, or even have a picnic. :)

Now let's have some mosaic fun! Here are the instructions:
1. Publish your Mosaic Monday post.
2. Once it is published, click on the title of the post. This will lead you to the static link for your post. The static link is the page with only that post on it. Copy the url from your browser at the top of the page.

4. Type your name in the appropriate inlinkz box in this post.

That's all there is to it! It's always a good idea to then check and see if your link is working. If you have any questions, feel free to email me: mrcarroll(at)optonline.

  11. I love to visit arboretum's Mary. Your photos are so crisp and clear. I have to begin practicing taking macros --I can never get them to look so clear.

Autumn is my favorite season and I'm looking forward to it. We just came back from a fabulous two week vacation in California. I always fall in love with every place I visit but San Francisco and the wine country are places I could easily move to for the rest of my life!

  12. Hi Mary!
Mother Nature is not subtle, is she, in her coloring? She uses her colors boldly, straight out of the paintbox. Beautiful!
