First of all, thanks to everyone who left comments of encouragement or commiseration on my post about house cleaning. I managed to get the house in decent shape, and the kids had a fun weekend. Now I just need to keep it clean... :)
I'm sharing a few foggy images this week. These were taken back in December. I love a good fog -- it's one of my favorite things to photograph outdoors. I tend to get in a photographic rut in the winter -- it's often too cold to take the camera outdoors, and I feel as though I have already shot just about everything I can in our little house. So this is the time that I often go back and start playing with older photos -- trying out different edits in Photoshop. For those of you who have Photoshop, I used some free actions from photographer Maria Kallin. You can download them from her blog here.

You have a terrific eye Mary! These are absolutely lovely!!
ReplyDeleteMary, the foggy images are wonderful, they give one a totally different feel of what one would expect from what we normally see. Images are cast off differently, mysteriously, and yet once the sun rises, it is still all there.
ReplyDeleteWe had foggy, misty rain filled days for our journey to the Hiwassee Wildlife Refuge last week, where some 10,000 Sandhill Cranes were staging for viewing...
Posts are already on my site, if you would want to view them.
Have a marvelous week~
Love the images of the soft gray fog. It does get hard to take pictures on cold, dreary gray days. Nancy
