Even Better

Do you remember this house, that I posted about earlier in the year?  I was in love with their garden, and called it my dream garden.  At the time, I told you that the house was under renovation.  They were adding a wing, and almost doubling the size of the house.

Here is a picture of the newly renovated house.  As you can see, they also painted.  Is this beautiful, or what?!

I am in love.  All over again.  Now it is my dream garden, and my dream house.

Sigh.

  7. Your house looks pretty lovely to me!
I love any house with character, and that is hard to find in a community that has only been here since 1952. We do have some cute really old cottages, but sadly they are all being torn down, and monstrosities are being put up. Land values have sky rocketed. No excuse if you ask me.

  9. Wowzers, is that a giant house or what? I think it would hold most of our blogger community. Perhaps a blogger commune?? What do you think? We will divvy it up and I will do the cooking and you will do the gardening!

  12. Mary, I love the look of that house in it's new, blue form. While I love big ole white houses, I think the blue really gives it a richer and appealing look. The garden is great. I can see why you fell in love with the whole look.

  20. It is lovely and the new color really brings out the personality. Alas...it is way too big for my style. Sometimes I look at these huge houses and wonder why they need that much room? Do they have 10 kids? Do they have that much stuff??

  21. It is no wonder that you are in love, what a gorgeous home. I was thinking about your Little Red House and how much you remind me of my friend Judy who lives in Hopewell. She took me to this adorable teahouse called Teaberrys in Flemington. What an amazing place. Karen

  31. Oh what a beautiful home! So funny I would have made sure to drag my kids trick or treating there just to get a peek inside the front door! You didn't "borrow" any little ones to do that, did you? ;)
