Do you remember this house, that I posted about earlier in the year? I was in love with their garden, and called it my dream garden. At the time, I told you that the house was under renovation. They were adding a wing, and almost doubling the size of the house.
Here is a picture of the newly renovated house. As you can see, they also painted. Is this beautiful, or what?!
I am in love. All over again. Now it is my dream garden, and my dream house.
Sigh.
Yes, but it is not LITTLE and it is not RED. It is lovely!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can take a wing and I can take a wing? It is gorgeous! Love that little round top window in the attic. The whole thing is just gorgeous!
ReplyDeletethe color made it pop and it is indeed a beauty...
ReplyDeleteAh, Mary...it is pretty, yes....
ReplyDeletebut, remember that we all love RED and LITTLE and you!!
Beautiful!! Although I have a thing for white houses so I liked it white better. The garden?! WOW.
ReplyDeletea.
That is one beautiful house!! I wonder what the inside looks like??? Sally
ReplyDeleteYour house looks pretty lovely to me!
ReplyDeleteI love any house with character, and that is hard to find in a community that has only been here since 1952. We do have some cute really old cottages, but sadly they are all being torn down, and monstrosities are being put up. Land values have sky rocketed. No excuse if you ask me.

Wowzers, is that a giant house or what? I think it would hold most of our blogger community. Perhaps a blogger commune?? What do you think? We will divvy it up and I will do the cooking and you will do the gardening!

Count me in as someone who dreams of a house like that. Lovely! They did such a great job on the addition and the garden is lovely.
ReplyDeleteahhh..am in love with befores and afters..that garden is just beautiful and the wing was done amazingly well..never know it. Now your mission, introduce yourself and take pictures and post'em.
ReplyDeleteMary, I love the look of that house in it's new, blue form. While I love big ole white houses, I think the blue really gives it a richer and appealing look. The garden is great. I can see why you fell in love with the whole look.
ReplyDeleteWow, it is beautiful. And, definitely dream worthy.
ReplyDeleteOh, it's just so beautiful... I would LOVE to see how it's decorated inside... Thanks for showing those wonderful pictures. It makes me want to go out and do something to make my garden as pretty ! (too bad it's dark now outside)
ReplyDeleteWow! That is the right word....no wonder it's your dream house and garden! Who wouldn't like to live there......sigh......smiles, Anke ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful home...I love the picket fence...
ReplyDeleteOh, it is a beautiful home! But I thought so even before the remodel.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
It is beautiful. I love when they stick to the original esthetic of the place when they renovate. But then, I still love your place too.
ReplyDelete*hugs*
That really is a dreamy house and dreamy garden! I can see why you love it :-)
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely and the new color really brings out the personality. Alas...it is way too big for my style. Sometimes I look at these huge houses and wonder why they need that much room? Do they have 10 kids? Do they have that much stuff??
ReplyDeleteIt is no wonder that you are in love, what a gorgeous home. I was thinking about your Little Red House and how much you remind me of my friend Judy who lives in Hopewell. She took me to this adorable teahouse called Teaberrys in Flemington. What an amazing place. Karen
ReplyDeleteIt is a lovely home...but it's not the Little Red House, that's for sure! I love your little red house!
ReplyDeleteWhy oh why don't they make houses like that out here...and in my price range? *Sigh*....I love it too Mary :)
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Dena
It is truely beautiful. So pretty with all of the changes - but I love the copper gutters!!!! Pretty overhang over the door, too.

Oh, yes. I can see why. Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous and I love the flowers on the fence in the first shot!
ReplyDeleteHi Mary,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty !!! I love the garden along the fence...I wish they had left it the other color though..not a fan of blue houses.
Kathy :)
that is so beautiful! what an addition! I love the garden.
ReplyDeletethanks for your comment. I would have thought you were a McCain girl!! Go O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wonderful house; the one I’ve always dreamed about!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful house and garden!
ReplyDeleteOh what a beautiful home! So funny I would have made sure to drag my kids trick or treating there just to get a peek inside the front door! You didn't "borrow" any little ones to do that, did you? ;)
ReplyDeleteActually, I liked the house better before the renovation:) And I don't care for the blue color either. I'm just saying . .
