Welcome to Mosaic Monday! Yes, you read that title right. We're having a bit of a flu epidemic here at the moment. Or maybe just flu-like symptoms. At any rate, I have definitely felt better. My son, who attends school in Philadelphia, ended up in the emergency room Wednesday night with a fever, chills, aches, etc. My husband drove round trip three plus hours to bring him home. Endless cups of tea and bowls of soup later, he's beginning to feel slightly better, but now I have it.
Ick.
So this week's mosaic is just a bunch of images from last week, all bundled together. I'm thinking that I will be taking a few days off this week, and although I will visit all your mosaics, I probably won't be leaving comments. I hope you will understand. :)
And I hope that everyone else will take up the slack and encourage one another! Till later in the week then... :)
Now let's have some mosaic fun! Here are the instructions:

Don't you hate it when your children are sick far away from home? My son had the swine flu this summer in California while we were home in Virginia. He is in a masters program for a degree in acting and was missing a performance every day. Thank goodness a friend looked after him and took him to the doctor and left groceries at his door for a week.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better soon.
Thanks for the tutorial on photo mosaics.
Mary -
ReplyDeleteI'm SO SORRY to hear that you're sick and your son! It reminds me of last week WHEN I was sitting at this computer submitting my entry with H1N1!!!!! I sure didn't feel well - but am 100% tonight! Hang in there! It's so great your hubby could go and get him to nurse back to health. It's EVERYWHERE here as well. GET BETTER . . . quick! My thoughts are with you.
Hi. Just found your blog thru some fun blog-hopping, and thought I would say hello! Sorry to hear that you are not feeling well, it seems to be all over the world. We had it here in Germany too, it made the rounds thru the family. I chuckled over your profile and how you love your kids but that they can be annoying. Hear-hear on that!! I know just how you feel. :-) Get well wishes from afar, warmly, Debby
ReplyDeleteForgot to say -- Love the mosaic. Especially the fungi. Yum.
