My chickens have come out to play in the afternoon sun. :) We have had three glorious days of it now, and it has been truly wonderful. Isn't it amazing how a little bit of sun can change your entire outlook on life?
Mr. Rooster is lording it over his little flock. ;) He is a recent birthday gift from my dear friend Robin, who also gave me the littlest milk glass nesting hen. The middle-sized nesting hen was a gift from the marvelous B.J., of Sweet Nothings, who is a pretty sweet lady herself. :)
Thank you so much, my friends. I love my rooster and chickens!
And they are loving the sunshine. Wishing you all some sunshine today, dear bloggers! :)
Oh! How very lovely they all are playing the sunshine! Good day to you! Cathy
ReplyDeleteHooray for sunshine except ours is still a bit too hot.
ReplyDeletethese images are so beautiful...simple and sunny, it really helps!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing more comforting to me than a sitting hen! So sweet!
ReplyDeleteMary, I like all your little white hens and rooster! I have some of those nesting hens too, thought mine are mostly in shades of blue. Sunshine sure feels wonderful after this long snowy winter, doesn't it? And you already have forsythia in bloom! I'm hoping that ours will pop out any day! The robins have arrived, so that is a great sign of spring to come.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sunshine wishes! It was a gorgeous day yesterday here in NC. I stepped out to the yard to garden a bit. I could have stayed out all day. Today is going to be beautiful too! The sun really does put me in a great mood!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely! Those feathered friends brought a smile to my face today! I just took down all the winter sparklies and dumped them on the dining room table yesterday...you have gotten me motivated to get them packed away so I can get my birdies out too! Happy Sunny Day to you too!
ReplyDeleteSo cheery and bright! Something about the sun makes our moods improve and our minds turn to the outside. I have so much gardening to do and we are supposed to have rain all week...

My kitchen is quite the roosters nest! I just can't seem to say no to any roosters I see. They make my kitchen look so cozy! Especially my rooster pillows on the window seat.
