Wow, I don't know about you, but we had some really hot weather this weekend. Close to 90 degrees. For the first days of May.
Oi!
The photos in my mosaic were taken over the past several years, and I chose them because the green and white color scheme made me think of cooler days. We don't have central air conditioning, and we haven't wanted to put our window units in yet. After all, it's only May 2nd.
I think the warm weather is going to be here at least another day. So I'm just going to sit here in front of the fan, and look at cooling photos...
Yes, I know. I really do need to tweak my meds.

Hi Mary,
ReplyDeleteWe had hot weather this weekend also. I'm not sure I am ready, I prefer Spring and Fall weather. But the gardens are so happy. Your mosaic is lovely and I do feel very cool looking at the photographs inside your creation.
Karen
Mary,
ReplyDeleteYour mosaic is beautiful. The cool green and white look so refreshing together. You are getting the heat and we are having cool weather right now. It has been in the low fifties and raining! It does make things green, however!
Thanks,
JoAnn
My mosaics are much more simple than the beauteous ones on this blog but I enjoy coming over here to see the wonderful assemblages. -- Jane F.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary! I love your pretty 'green' mosaic! I fudged just a little on my mosaic - it's not necessarily pretty, but I just love to come to your party so I hope it's okay!

ReplyDeleteWe actually decided to turn on the central air that we had installed less than 2 years ago, and guess what? It didn't work. It was a hot night here ... and not in a good way!
Plus this morning, big rivulets of MUD were washed off our driveway slope and all over the grass. Sometimes the fun just never ends. :-P
Have a good one!
Cass
Forgot to say --LOVE the drops on the white tulip. I have to show that to Howard; he is obsessed with raindrop pictures.
