It took me a week, but I finally got around to editing my photos from our vacation. I know some of you may have watched the TV show Jersey Shore... well, this is the real Jersey shore. If you get up early enough, you can have the beach almost entirely to yourself, and wow is it ever beautiful! The beach photos you see here were taken in Wildwood Crest, where the beach itself is about a half mile wide. What a lovely spot! The lighthouse is the Cape May lighthouse. There is a beautiful beach there as well, but no lifeguards. Cape May is known as a fabulous place to watch birds, and when we were there we saw several white herons although I didn't get any decent photos of them... :(
