Everything is green here ...has been SO drought stricken but a bit of rain last week has greened it all up again. It's the 3rd day of Autumn in Australia.
Hi Mary...we have lots of rain...as usual. They've been talking snow again but so far nothing...I almost bought flowers for outside...I know it's too early but I am getting anxious!
Stay cozy in your warm house...I'm sure the snow is lovely!
Haha -- oh dear, I removed my first comment because I had written that you got 4 inches, when you got 5 ot 6... but now it looks like I said something naughty or rude and removed the comment.
I will get the hang of this eventually. Maybe. Cass
I am in the middle of reading "The Shack" and God does instant Springtime. It was fun just reading about it. Soon the snow will all be a memory. What is it they say? "Everything good is worth waiting for?" Wish I could give you instant Springtime. Mona
You know I live in AZ where we don't get the white stuff (some places do but not in this city) But I have to say, unless you grow winter grass or grow things inside like many do, we don't have green either. Mostly we are just dead yellow or brown so THANK YOU!!!!
Just checking in to say hello Mary! Do I need green? Oh yes! It is supposed to be 50 degrees here this weekend, oh Lordy! I can't wait. Even the dead, dull grass feeds my soul this time of year!

I am a 50-something reluctant housewife (I'd rather be an international supermodel or a forest ranger or a jockey), mother of two great but sometimes annoying kids ages 25 and 21, and wife to a funny, hard-working attorney.
While I appreciate each and every one of the awards that you have given me since 2007, I have decided that Little Red House will no longer be accepting awards and tags. Thank you for your understanding. :)
No humor from here I`m afraid..... The spring is faaar away here i Norway too...

We actually had about 4 inches at our house but a warm front is close behind. It is supposed to be in the high 60's this weekend....yay!!

ReplyDeleteThank you, I really needed some greens this morning. You really lightened up my very grey London day.

I really did need green. I was going to go and find some astroturf to shoot, I was that desperate for green.

We had 6" of snow last week. And yet yesterday was T-shirt weather. Go figure!
