Love it Mary! In fact, I have blue toile in our master bedroom in the summer. Not sure if I could post a link here. It's very easy to live with. That pattern is very pretty.
Gorgeous bedding! I can't do blue in my house because of my mother's insane need for it in all of her homes until this one and the last thing I want to do is think of her in the bedroom LOL, but I love it in other peoples homes and the fact that it's toile makes me rethink my thinking ;)
I truly don't think you can ever tire of toile....that is a very pretty one! Is it the "children at play" toile? I have used it in pink before. You have a "yes" from me!
I often visit, but don't comment....but how can I resist blue toile? I don't think one could ever tire of it. My first 'married' bedroom was done in blue and white toile, and thirty years later I did another one - it just felt right.
Mary, your toile blue and white bedding is gorgeous and I am loving the hint of navy as it compliments so well, but this would look equally stunning with more white or even a beautiful shade of yellow, really lovely. Kathy.
Nothing beats toile, no matter what the color. There is something so classic and comfortable about it. You can dress it up or down. The french knew what they were doing when they created this timeless treasure. Sares @ Loveleigh Treasures
Hi. I visit nearly every day and have left a comment or two. I had to comment on the blue and white toile: I love it! My bedroom has been blue and white most of my life, by choice. It is so soothing and relaxing.
And at Christmastime, although red is a primary color in the living and dining rooms, there's not a trace of red in the bedroom. I add a little bit of greenery, some paperwhites, and white lights; a winter wonderland in my own home. You can't go wrong with blue and white toile! ~Arleen
Fresh and crisp is also what first came to my mind. And, I seriously need to go thrift shopping with you because you find the most amazing things. My favorite though, is your mother's shell shaped sauce dish with the pearlized glaze. It's a treasure.
Don't worry about whining. That's a terribly big job and a crazy inconvenience whilst it's in progress.
Mary, I love visiting your blog, absolutely inspiring. I have been looking for over a year for blue toile bedsheets, can you share the vendor? Your table scape also is very yummy.
Patti, The vendor is Country Curtains. I'm not sure if they have sheets, though. They do have pillow shams, throw pillows, duvet cover, bedskirt and, of course, curtains. :)

Ooooh, very pretty. I would have sweet dreams on those sheets.
