Well, it's been a very rainy couple of days here in New Jersey. I guess we are making up for about a month of sunshine and high temperatures, and yesterday we got a real gully-washer.
So I thought maybe I would dust off these pictures and have a virtual picnic. A roast beef sandwich on whole wheat, an apple and Shakespeare.
Won't you join me? :)
A virtual picnic ... I like it! Can you make mine a turkey sandwich though, please?
ReplyDeleteRain here too, but yes, we needed it. Today looks to be a cooker though!
Rain here on and off for two days in UK!!! It is great, the garden looks so much better for it. I will join in the picnic, but white meat I don't eat beef, orange juice as I don't drink and some grapes which are easier to eat for my teeth, sorry!!
ReplyDeleteJackie in UK.
Super fun post. What a great idea.
ReplyDeleteThe rain , oh, you are so lucky. We are still at 115 here. Cannot wait for rain to come! Lovely picnic, I'd love to join, too!
ReplyDeleteThis is the perfect little picnic! And the photos really tell a romantic story.
ReplyDeleteWe got torrents of rain here as well. We really needed it.
But I'm thrilled the rain stopped so we could see this lovely picnic!

ReplyDeletePerfection! Hope that there's a little cheese there, too. Perhaps a bunch of grapes? Do you read Shakespeare aloud? I'd love for you to read.
