My Virtual Picnic

Well, it's been a very rainy couple of days here in New Jersey. I guess we are making up for about a month of sunshine and high temperatures, and yesterday we got a real gully-washer.

So I thought maybe I would dust off these pictures and have a virtual picnic. A roast beef sandwich on whole wheat, an apple and Shakespeare.

Won't you join me? :)

  1. A virtual picnic ... I like it! Can you make mine a turkey sandwich though, please?

Rain here too, but yes, we needed it. Today looks to be a cooker though!

  2. Rain here on and off for two days in UK!!! It is great, the garden looks so much better for it. I will join in the picnic, but white meat I don't eat beef, orange juice as I don't drink and some grapes which are easier to eat for my teeth, sorry!!

We got torrents of rain here as well. We really needed it.

  12. Perfection! Hope that there's a little cheese there, too. Perhaps a bunch of grapes? Do you read Shakespeare aloud? I'd love for you to read.

  19. Hi Mary....Loved that expression "a real gully washer." Never heard that before but it seems apt. The only thing missing from your sweet picnic was virtual ants. Thanks for sharing. Susan
