Mosaic Monday: Longing for Spring

We had a little taste of spring weather this past week, but it's back to winter now. That little tease had me trolling through my archives to find some reminders of springs past. So here are a few blooms, all from my garden, complete with precipitation that is not snow. :)

Now let's have some mosaic fun! Here are the instructions:
1. Publish your Mosaic Monday post.
2. Once it is published, click on the title of the post. This will lead you to the static link for your post. The static link is the page with only that post on it. Copy the url from your browser at the top of the page.
3. Paste the url into the appropriate inlinkz box in this post.
4. Type your name in the appropriate inlinkz box in this post.
5. Click on "Enter."
6. Please link back to this Mosaic Monday post so that your readers can find other wonderful mosaics.
That's all there is to it! It's always a good idea to then check and see if your link is working. If you have any questions, feel free to email me: mrcarroll(at)optonline

And a quick reminder: if you would like to join Mosaic Monday but don't know quite where to start, there is a tutorial on mosaic-making on my sidebar. Just scroll down, and click on the small blue mosaic.

  1. Very pretty. I'm counting the days myself. Upon daily inspection (since the glacier receded) I finally found the first little green nose poking through, looking for the sun this morning. Pretty certain it's a hyacinth. Can't wait for more, including more pics of your gardens. Blessings.

  2. I love these pictures of spring but must confess that I wish that winter would hurry up and arrive here in Australia! It's about 92F here right now and storms have been predicted for this afternoon. Please send me some of your cold weather!

    Best wishes,
    Natasha.

  17. I hope that you're out of the path for tomorrow's snow. We are north of it thankfully. What wonderful greens and the addition of fabric complements is so pretty. Don't you worry, spring will officially be here in a few short weeks and perhaps she'll show up early like last year. We can dream.

  31. We seem to be stuck in winter here too, still well below freezing point and covered in snow and ice. I'm looking elsewhere for inspiration so went to see an exhibition of 60s/70s design.

  32. Morning Mary, love the photographs, especially the raindrops. The Forsythia is starting to flower in our garden but it is still quite cold. I believe some places in USA have snow, I hope you aren't one of them?
How is the photography business going, Jackie in Surrey, UK?

  40. Mary... I had a double take when I saw your mosaic... a stab of jealousy that you had such beautiful spring posies already! Alas, like you.... I'm still waiting.

My favorites are the first two... gorgeous!

  41. These are all so beautiful, Mary! I can't wait for spring ... that little tease of warm weather last week made it so hard to deal with the snow we had this weekend. xo

  42. Ahh...Mary...sure do wish that we could share our warm weather with you ;) I just cannot take the snow anymore and don't know how the rest of the country is doing it this year...seems like winter is going to be forever with all these huge snow storms. Be safe and hope you have a wonderful week. Fondly, Roberta

  46. Suzy, I am not sure of the name of that daffodil -- it might be Ice Follies... Planted them years ago!
