Just popping in to say hello. The wild violets are blooming in our lawn right now, and the weather has been absolutely beautiful. I've been busy gathering donations for the semi-annual VNA Rummage Sale in May. And I have been spending a lot of time setting up my portrait photography website for (hopefully) an early May launch.
But all this has taken a toll. I think I may need to refrain from blogging for a little while -- I'm having some nasty pain in my right hand, and I'm sure it must be from too much typing and photo editing.
But on a brighter note, my photoblog, In a Soft Light, has been included in the Summer 2011 edition of Artful Blogging magazine. I am over-the-moon excited! It will be on sale May 1st. :)
I hope to be back posting here for Mosaic Monday on May 1st. See you then! xoxo
I never think to pick my wild violets. Beautiful photo!

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Mary,
ReplyDeleteI hope your hand is feeling better soon. It certainly takes the pleasure away from doing something we love when it hurts to do it. Yes CONGRATULATIONS on your feature in Artful Blogging! Mary, I always pick the wild violets. They are the sweetest things, in spite of the fact that some consider them weeds in the lawn. Congratulations of your feature in Artful Blogging and I hope your hand is better soon.

So much going on! Very exciting that things are coming to fruition!=D (So sorry about your hand, though!!!=()
ReplyDeleteMary, little violets in the lawn are a favorite of mine and this photo is just beautiful. You know that I've been a bit frozen and timid with life but you never stop inspiring and refreshing me. I'm almost embarrassed to say that violets are a favorite - do I always say that when I come here?=] Anyway, Tom would always be very kind and not mow until they had had a good run. I love the fresh green of the grass with the cool blue and white of the violets!!! Of course, there are none, here, at the new house but, last year, I tried to move some. Hopefully, just a shake of the seeds and we'll have more than we ever wanted.=]
I have a few tiny bulbs blooming in my garden, Mary! I cannot wait to get out there and take some photos!!!!
I hope Easter was joyous and refreshing for you all!
Love, Katy
Take care! Heal up and come back to us.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the magazine!
