Loving Purple



Just a few purple flowers for you today:   1.  bee balm




2.  autumn crocus




3. physostegia (obedient plant)




4. passionflower




5. thistle


I'm loving purple flowers lately!  Happy autumn.  :)

  6. All so beautiful. The passion flower looks so exotic and I love thistles. Too bad they are so picky that nobody wants them in theor garden, I would love a whole patch of them back by the woods.

  9. Purple in any shape or form is just a great color.
    Do you take any pictures in parks in your county? I'm asking because I go to a few of them and am always looking for others to go to.

    BTW, a few of the pics on my blog are taken at a farm in our county... can you guess which one :)

    Adventure girl -- The bee balm is in a little pocket park close to my house. For some reason, the deer always eat mine. The others are all in my yard. The thistle is wild.

  13. Absolutely beautiful flowers! Wow I am amazed at how lovely the flowers are and the plants are sooooo green. Here in So. Calif. the flower stems are always touched with a little brown from the heat and not alot of rain. Beautiful blog! Enjoyed ALL your lovely photo's.
