Yet Another Garden Post

Hi everybody!  Another garden tour for you today.  Do you remember my post last week about garden ornaments?  This is part of the same garden.  It's a charming little water garden, with some really cute inhabitants.

Look closely at the edges of the pool.  Do you see who I'm talking about?  Wait,  I'll show you a closer peek in a minute.

In the meantime, don't you love this little garden structure?  What fun would it be to sit here and listen to the water, and gaze at this lovely garden?

See who is peeping out from under the fountain?  Frog and Toad!  (Or maybe Frog and Frog...  I'm not really an expert here.)

And look at this charming fountain in the surrounding shade garden.  I guess someone in this garden loves frogs.

And really, what's not to love?  ;)

  2. It's beautiful. Joni Mitchell got it right when she wrote:

    We are stardust
    We are golden
And we've got to get ourselves
    Back to the garden

  8. Oh, you would have to drag me away from this garden, a pond, and a frog and toad. You would have to drag me kicking and well kicking away from this tranquil spot.

    This is my dream pond.

  10. Thanks for the lovely tour. I have a pond and water garden and hear the frogs croak and jump in, but can never get a picture of one. Maybe I don't sit still long enough.

  12. Hi Mary -- the holiday weekend was lovely here; fairly quiet but our kids were here, and some of their friends, which was fun. I miss having a house full.

Are those little frogs under the turtle real? How did you get them to pose so nicely? :-)

Lovely dreamy garden scene -- thanks!
