It's apple blossom time at our Little Red House. I've always thought it would be great to have an apple orchard, but we only have one old apple tree, and one pink-flowered crabapple. They are enough, however, to provide some beautiful spring blossoms, and to shower the grass with pink and white petals. Happy spring!

Beautiful photos Mary; I can almost smell the apple blossoms. Think how much time you are saving (with only one tree)picking drops off the ground;-)

ReplyDeleteI love apple blossoms, and any other kind too! Our pear, peach and apple trees were just beginning to bloom and we got a hard freeze last night...sigh.. I hope they will be ok.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have either of those trees! Yours are just gorgeous! I just love to see all the flowering trees this spring. Those pics are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteMary, you live amongst beauty - both inside and outside. And, you are so sweet to share it.
ReplyDeleteI wish a blog photo could be a scratch & sniff....they're beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect frame for your house. It's too bad the blossom don't stay for a longer period of time. The pink and white blossoms are so delicate. I bet it looks like a fairy snowstorm when they fall! :-) Rosie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Mary. I hope you get outside today to enjoy!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty photos, too bad that bush in front of your house blocks your front window.

ReplyDeleteSuch pretty blossoms! Do you get many apples? Can I come by for pie in the fall? :-)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy this beautiful day!
Hugs, Pat
What a lovely tree. I bet it smells wonderful, too... and while I love the site of bees on cherry and apple blossoms, it usually makes me study the tree from afar rather than upclose- yours seemed to be lacking bees, so happy tree indeed!
ReplyDeleteStunning photo's Mary, simply stunning!

Hi Mary,
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely blossoms you have on your trees.
Cheers Linda
Beautiful blossoms! I love the last picture!! I remember as a child going into the woods and breaking off small branches of wild apple tree blossoms to bring home and put in vases. They smelled so sweet.
