Reporting Back

After all my stressing, my cleaning frenzy and my Triple Red Alert, I'm happy to report that my son's girlfriend is an absolute sweetheart. She even brought me flowers! Next time I get this crazy, I hope someone will remind me of this.

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend. As fun as the weekend has been, I'm looking forward to getting back to my normal routine, and being able to visit you all again. I have some great garden pictures to share with you, and I feel the need to set a pretty table soon, too. :)

  5. Mary - I knew it would be wonderful. We stress way too much about the dusting and stuff because it's all about the people and the fun.

Like Adrienne said, if you think you were nervous, multiply that by 10 and that's how nervous that young woman was.

She's adorable, he's adorable......but what's that on the wall behind them?????? Is that a mural? Have you featured it and I just missed it? Looks wonderful

  24. I can't belive it has taken me 3 days to get a chance to catch up and check out how the girlfriend visit went. Sounds like it was all ok. If nothing else you have done things you wanted doing anyway.
Nothing like a 'panic attack' to make us catch up with things.
