Still Fluffing

Yes, I know I'm nuts, but I'm still cleaning and fluffing. My son and The Girlfriend arrive at 3pm. They plan to stay till Tuesday. I'll let you all know how it all went if I'm still coherent by then. Have a wonderful weekend, dear bloggers!

  3. Ha, ha...you're funny Mary. Of course you're still fluffing. You'll be fluffing till the moment they walk in the door. Don't worry, the girlfriend will be blown away by your hospitality and your beautiful home.

My daughter and her new boyfriend arrived last night. I met him before but this was the first face-to-face with DAD. Did I mention that dad was a drill instructor in the Army? HA. He ran down a list of questions and I believe the young man did just fine. He was in the Navy for four years, so I believe he knows the routine. HA.

I always feels like telling the new boyfriend or girlfriend who visit here for the first time -"Take a good look around because you'll never see this place in this condition again."

Have a wonderful time Mary. Just relax and enjoy.

  10. Aw, that brings back memories from when my son came home with his girlfriend last Thanksgiving. We hadn't seen him in a year or so and he was bringing home a girl!!! I was a cleaning "fluffing" maniac. Everything had to be just perfect. Needless to say it was a wonderful visit. I hope you are having a great weekend.

  11. Mary I am sure your time with your son and 'The Girlfriend' will have been more fun than you thought. No doubt all your 'fluffing' will have paid off and you will feel at ease when 'The Girlfriend' arrives.
