Blue & White

Have I shown you this book?  I honestly can't remember.  I got it for Christmas last  year.  I am a terrific Carolyne Roehm fan.  Her books are absolutely beautiful -- filled with gorgeous antiques and flowers.

Can you imagine having this beautiful collection of blue and white porcelain?  Be still my heart!

And I'm such a sucker for a pretty table.  :)

Gorgeous porcelain, but will you look at that painting in the background?!  One of the things I love about Carolyne Roehm books is that the photos are filled with eye candy.  :)

Oh, how about this lovely centerpiece of peonies?  I'm going to remember this one come spring.  I  don't have quite so many different varieties, but I think I could scrounge up at least three different peony colors.  It may be snowing here at our Little Red House today, but I'll be curled up with this beautiful book, dreaming of spring.

  1. I will have to keep this book in mind for my sister. She is a blue and white nut sadly to a point that she can do some weird things. Many of us are curious about the company marks on the underneath of a cup or other china item. When it happens to be a blue and white piece my sister has been known to lose herself and just turn the piece bottoms-up to see the makers name.

  3. Beautiful book. I can imagine you'll be curled up reading it today. We've got our snow day! It's still coming down in Maryland and we've got about 6 inches already! George can't find any sticks and is playing frisbee. And they keep getting buried when they land. Poor pup.
