Just a few flowers for you this morning. Don't you love pansies? They are not as bright as the tulips, nor are they as bold as the daffodils, but to me they say "spring is here!" As much as I grumble about the winter, I am happy to live in a place where the four seasons are distinct. For how else could I love spring so much, without having to go through the cold and snow? So here are some pansies -- small, cheerful faces to tell us that spring is truly here. Hallelujah! :)

Your pansies are so sweet and charming. I am so amazed by the resilience of a pansy. I have seen them encased in ice, and then nodding so pretty when the ice thaws.
ReplyDeleteYou always offer us such a pleasant start to our day. Thanks, Mary.
You are the Macro queen! Beautiful shots! Hasn't the weather just been delightful?
ReplyDeleteOh what beautiful pansies. Like sweet little faces looking up at you

Ahhhh, pansies and gardens and sunny days! Spring is so late around here; still in the 30ths! :(

Oh yes, I also DO love pansies. I can't resist them and buy lots in autumn... and if they don't get eaten by slugs they grow and grow in spring, and last until June, or even further if the weather is not too hot. And they generally re-seed themselves ! Thanks for those beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos...
ReplyDeleteHope you join in on the Dessert Carnival...it is going to be luscious!
hugs, bj
I also can't imagine living where the seasons don't change. However, spring has taken her sweet time this year! Thank you for the lovely photos.
