Crazy Lady

Hey mom, look at the funny lady with the camera.  It looks like she's trying to sneak up on us, but she's making an awful lot of noise.

Come on, my dears (or should that be deers?), let's move away from the crazy lady.

Tails up to you, crazy lady!

Do you think she will follow us into the trees?!

Be sure to click on the pictures to enlarge them.  Yes they are pests, and they eat my garden, but heck, they're just so cute!

  10. Hi Mary,

There seems to be quite a few sets of twins this year! We have two sets that visit us often (at the same time) and I saw another pair down in Pottersville last week! I never tire of looking at them...even though they came right up to the front porch and ate all the flowers!

  11. They are so beautiful. I wish I lived where there were deer. I did once when I lived in Washington State...they used to walk into our backyard. And even though they eat the plants I still love them.

  13. Those are great photos! Twins, I don't see that often around here. I love to watch them run, like they have springs for legs. Over fences with an effortless hop.

  29. Oh my dear (deer): At first I thought these were statues, but then they MOVED! And when I cliked to enlarge...WOW...could see every beautiful detail. Perhaps they believe that being so darn cute totally outweighs the fact that they eat gardens...same with bunnies...an evolution technique? LOL

  33. Here's a tip to keep the deer away from your garden...

Strategically place bars of Irish Spring soap in areas that you want the deer to avoid. Put the soap in old nylon knee highs, and tie to a post. The deer hate the smell and will stay away.
