Could it be, uh, red????? I loved the photography in this post. I have a red transferware pitcher, teapot, and teacups in my kitchen. I love the soft tone of the red in the transferware. Other elements of the kitchen are bright red, but the soft red transferware seems to fit in well on top of the Hoosier cabinet.
I am essentially a blue girl, but every so often (even other than Christmas) I go through a red phase, and put little bits of red around my home ... and I absolutely love it. Probably just one of the reasons I love your blog.
Hmm...let me think...PURPLE!! That is it isn't it? No? Lime green?? Um...burnt orange?? Gee...I have no idea. Now I am absolutely *red* with anger at myself that I can not guess. Gee...and I thought it was *red*ily on the tip of my little *red* tongue. I am so *red* of face that I can't come up with it...

While I appreciate each and every one of the awards that you have given me since 2007, I have decided that Little Red House will no longer be accepting awards and tags. Thank you for your understanding. :)
Hmmm, I'm guessing red? Same as mine!

Red is one of my favorite colors, too, Mary. And looking around my house, I'm wondering why I am not seeing more of it! What is going on here?
ReplyDeleteWell, I thought I knew that answer before it was confirmed. I love how you tell picture stories!

ReplyDeleteThat warm, cozy color..think I know waht it is!

ReplyDeleteRed is such a cheerful colour, isn't it?

Have you happened to notice that YOUR FAVORITE COLOR seems to be VERY POPULAR in blogland????
ReplyDeleteSmiles,
bj
I've got a good guess that it's red. Mine too.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a fantastic day!
I like red too. Just one red object in a room packs such a punch. If any room looks bland, add a bit of red. That's my theory.
ReplyDeleteMarnie
Humm!? Do I need to think about this? Yes, I think I can safely guess your favorite color.
ReplyDeleteBut, I'm not so sure you can guess mine.
Hi Mary,
ReplyDeleteAll the red in your home looks so warm and inviting!
Have a great day,
Diane
Yes....RED in all it's glory. I love red also. It just adds a pop of color to any room. My favorite is your plate. So beautiful.

ReplyDeleteOh it's my birthstone's color, ruby. I love the pics especially the first one.
ReplyDeleteI knew it would be red! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm not too sure about favorite color # 2 though...perhaps yellow or sage green? Both colors that go well with red.
Hugs, Pat
