I feel as though I am running out of things to blog about recently, so I thought I would just share a few pictures of a nearby park with you today. We used to take our kids to this park when they were little. They loved to walk the path around the pond, and see the Canadian geese and swans.
There is a small island in the center of the pond, where the swans nest.
Aren't they beautiful?
If you look carefully, you can see the fish who seem to be looking for their next meal whenever you approach the water's edge.
I hope you all have a wonderful week. Hopefully, inspiration will strike me before tommorow, and I will have something more for you... :)
Mary, your lovely pictures and knowing you are well is inspiration enough. I appreciate you every day.

ReplyDeleteThat park looks so peaceful. Sigh. Love swans.
Beautiful series of photos! I like very much the third photo with two swans on it. They are really lovely and the last photo with the white feather in the water is special too.

I believe your neck of the woods is featured in Country Home this month (Lambertville??). You could visit some of the shops they mention, OK that might be dangerous!

ReplyDeleteLovely photos of what looks like a very tranquil place. I know the feeling of "blogblock" ...It seems to be contagious and running rampant throughout blogland this week.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful park! I'd love to find a place like that here to take my youngest ones to.
ReplyDeleteFunny, but I thought of you last week. I know your love for photography and I was on a mini vacation and was snapping pictures left and right. One image I just had to get and I thought of how you must see the world around you to capture it's beauty.
Great pictures, Mary. My kids like to visit our local pond too. It's a great place to go on a warm day and let the kids get out some energy while enjoying nature.
ReplyDelete*hugs*

Sometimes I don't know what to say, either. So I use pictures and the words are just fill. I love coming here even when you think you don't have anything to say. It's like dropping in on a friend just to say hello. I should remember this for when I run out of things to say, too.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great way to spend the end of a day......
ReplyDeleteA trip to the park to take in the scenery is surely a plus to any day. The swans are so graceful and I have always admired them. I love the picture with the feather...a little rejuvinating...
