Winter White

Are you getting tired of white yet?

Do you feel as though you need a little color?

Maybe you need to wake up a little?

Are you just plain tired of snow and ice?

I'm trying to find something to smile about in all this white.  Can you help me out here?  ;)

  2. I may not be able to help you out, but you're definitely helping me out. The good thing is that spring will arrive much sooner in your world than in mine. Love this slide presentation going on to my right.

  4. Sorry I can't help you Mary. I have Seasonal Affective Disorder in reverse - I get "down" when spring comes and start perking up again in November!

I, along with my fellow sufferers, are loving every minute of this.

  5. I can only say that each season has its own beauty and that we need to appreciate it while we have it! In the summer we will wish for a little white to cool us off!

  6. Hi Mary, I'm not really tired of the white...I'm tired of the grey, brownish, weird green.....I wished we would have a wonderful white landscape...but we are not blessed with that for a couple of years now. So enjoy the white if you have it, even it's hard. I long for spring too, maybe look at all your wonderful summer photos you took and maybe you will be cheered up right away, smiles, Anke ;)

  14. Mary- I'm afraid NWS has more white stuff headed our way the next three days! Better batten down the hatches and get ready for a few more snow days! I am tired of NJ's gray and gloomy lack of sun lately, can't wait to sit in a south facing window and soak up some sun one of these days soon!
The flowers are beautiful and I resorted to bunches of daffodils from the market to perk me up. I think we've all got the winter "blahs"!
Have a safew eek full of snug and warm! Bramble

  26. You know I feel your pain, you won't hear me complain ONCE when the "GOOD" weather comes. I don't care how HOT it gets, you can always cool off in a pool or with the AC...when you get a chill this time of year NO matter how close your BUTT gets to the wood stove, it does not HELP....

I used to love WHITE...not this WiNTER....

    Cute post Mary,
    Kathy :)

ps if I knew how to write my comment in a ZIPPY color I would have :)

Our frozen, white yards have melted to reveal bits of grass trying to turn green. It was in the 60s today--70s tomorrow!! Come on color! Dana
